I enjoyed coming into work everyday! Sometimes I start at 7 am while sometimes I start at 8 am and work my 10 hours a day. As long as I get my work done and meet my deadlines we have the privilege of setting our hours.

Best of all I get every second Thursday off and I can also work from home when desired although I enjoy the atmosphere of being in the office!

Good Entry level, but not long term.

Work culture/ethics was superb my first two years. Survived through 6 restructures as they called them. Let that sit, 6 out of 7 years...6 of them! Entry level positions are fine, but do not expect to be treated as a human but more like a robot. Starting salaries are below national average, but the Shaw family will very much disagree with you. Management is horrible at every level, right up to the owners. I have heard numerous supervisors talk smack about their employees. They do not even try to hide it anymore before I left. Raises are supposed to be based off performance, but it is more about how far down can you bend and take it. Oh and benefits had started being cut as of 2017. Work from home? Maybe you will be allowed too, but if you are in sales no problem! Because mostly everyone is trying to cover their own behinds, do not expect different departments to offer any help. If someone does, they are either out for something or are genuinely sincere (rare). If you are looking for some quick experience to gain better employment, sure apply at Shaw. If not, I would evade the company unless you want mental health issues.
