I work for the CSE/Promotional Department and let me tell you guys i have never had a job this AMAZING. ITS LIKE YOUR OWN BUSINESS WITHOUT ANY INVENTORY. They pay you minimum wage but you’re not limited around that you decide how much you want to earn the more effort you put into making sales the more $$$ you make. They provide you all the support, softwares and information and you just have to reach out to the customers and convince them into buying the products. We get monthly sales target its actually like they set you up with your own business give you everything and then its your communications skills that helps you run your business. YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH THIS JOB. It helped me develop so many leadership skills my team has been nothing but supportive and it gives you an idea on how to pitch your customers and its really helpful in the future... BY FAR THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST JOB IGE VE EVER COME ACROSS AND IF U GET AN OFFER TAKE IT IN A HEART BEAT

Shaw is a great career with many opportunities to grow and advance within your role. The hours are all over the place and can be difficult especially with mandatory weekend shifts when you have holidays during the week. Working in the call centre is extremely draining as sometimes the leads are not the best. You will deal with a lot of stress on a regular basis and must have a thick skin otherwise you will not make it far. Salary is minimum wage yet with commission structure you can make an endless amount of money with sales. There are strict targets to meet every month and you are expected to adapt to an ever revolving team. Management is very supportive and will have your back no matter what as long as you do your job well you will be golden in this role. Promotions within the company are constantly changing so you have to be able to adapt to change fast otherwise you will sink. Overall you will have the support you need if you are willing to be open and transparent to senior management, co workers will always help you, there is much room for growth yet you have to adapt well to fast change.

Although I did choose to accept the voluntary departure program I saw Shaw as a life time career. It was an uplifting, innovative and rewarding company to work with. There was a lot of opportunity for career development throughout the entire company as well. I would recommend Shaw to anyone I know.

Shaw has undergone many changes since I had worked there. They underwent a voluntary employee departure program in which almost a third of the work force left. My department had changed rapidly, with management, pricing of products, new software to learn etc. fun work environment.

My department has an easy going, fun, fast-faced sales environment. The hardest part of the job (some days) is closing various deals. The most enjoyable part of the job is definitely the people you work with. My coworkers make it an easy place to enjoy working at.

Shaw has good work environment only if you learn how to lick the a.. Of your Supervisor and Specialist. Lot of favouritism and no job security. No matter how well you do if they like you they will keep you. If they don't they will manage you out in few seconds.

Absolutely loved working for Shaw, The atmosphere was great! Advancing in the company seemed like it was a little difficult due to the fact that new rules were in place. Still i would still work there again.
