Nice people, terrible management

Management will keep saying that they'll support all employees, and in the end won't do anything of the sort. I left because my supervisor kept accusing me of mistreating customers when in fact I was assisting customers that were mistreated by other employees.

Great Pay and Benefits, but little room for growth.

Pay is pretty good, and the benefits are the best I have ever seen, however being yelled at everyday by customers is something people can handle for only so long. Management is friendly and supportive, although you are constantly being monitored. If 5 minutes goes by after you have finished with a call, a supervisor on shift will message you asking why you haven't taken the next call. It's not a hard job if you like people and problem solving, but it takes a lot of emotional energy out of you.

If you are adaptable, this is the place for you. Lots of change, but also lots of opportunity for those who see it and are willing to go for it. As a company, they are at the outset of really expanding into mobile, and are becoming better and better at finding their niche and delivering on it.

Overall my experiences with Shaw were very positive. I enjoyed the culture and the people who worked there.

The biggest drawback is that as a large employer there were limited opportunities for advancement.

Still there is opportunity for those who work for it, and the company works with it's employees very well, and even has programs and policies in place to support part time employees that are also students.

Overall Shaw was an ok company to work for.

While the benefits and office culture were great I felt that some of the management played favorites at times. Morale was low in my time there as they laid off a lot of staff there were key to building the company up.

Management changed 4 times in 2.5 years, upper management once. Each change brought new parameters to meet and new expectations of performance. Made it impossible to advance. Changing departments out of customer service is impossible without formal education in each field. No company culture to speak of, you drink the shaw Koolaide or keep quiet. Bringing up legit issues that are being overlooked in meetings can result in write ups. Constant stress and pressure. Constant reducing target KPIs.
Best thing is the benefits. Benefits are hands down amazing.
