Avis d'employé sur Shannex
Lots of drama and office politics
Management expect you to work yourself to the bone for little pay. Lots of drama in the workplace and managers and staffing openly gossip about employees in front of workers

The residents are sweet and make it rewarding.
Expect to get called in alot. Gossip. Low pay.
I took this job as a change of pace after struggling with an ongoing illness for the last few years. As a result of this I had sick days which were all accompanied with a doctors note. I was asked to provide an attending physician statement, which my doctor said was completely inappropriate to hand in. I went through a depressive period for two weeks, also covered by a note. My attendance was brought up again, which I understood was a concern, all backed by notes. My attendance improved and nothing was said to me. A new manager came into place and I was fired within a few days, saying that I did not pass probation after several months, The staff morale there is non existent, except for a rare few there who are actually working there. There are a few good managers, but that doesn't make up for the rest of them. Extremely disorganized. Staff feel that they never have enough resources to do their job efficiently. Short staffed. Several poorly educated workers. Poor pay. Go somewhere else.
a typical day at work is amazing experience i have learned alot in my past being a staff at shannex before made me feel alive in so many way truly the place made me so comfortable. management was the best people you could ever ask for because they help you at anytime when you need it the most hardest part i can say isnt anything i love all the work that i do on a daily time limited and the most enjoyable part about being thee was seeing all the people trying my best to help everyone each and everyone that made my day everyday i miss it dearly
just a few break now and than
long hour days would be a great thing for me
I absolutely loved getting up in the morning and helping my clients get ready for their day. Although the way shannex care at home treats their employees is disgusting, the management is TERRIBLE. Workers are unappreciative, underpaid and are over worked due to constantly being understaffed. They would hold work meetings just for them to talk bad about the residents.I called in sick and was told that I had no choice but to come into work.. they do NOT care about their clients, it’s all about the money. Most shifts are only 3 hours long, oh and expect to get harassed through phone calls and emails all day long asking you to work 7 days a week.
