Because every client is different with different needs, there were no 'typical' days. I learned so much from listening to clients and realize that though we age, inside we feel pretty much the same. My clients were intelligent (in most cases) with wonderful stories of their lives. I learned that they crave independence and respect and resent being treated as helpless. The management was very detailed on giving me the information required to adapt to each individual. The hardest part of the job was watching someone slowly die. The most enjoyable part was the sharing and laughter between myself and the client, It is really a very rewarding feeling to be helping someone get through their days with the best of their abilities.
