I’ve been with Securitas for a year. It may be the the worst place to work. The receptionist is great in the beginning then is constantly rude when ever you need something. The field supervisors are amazing, and cater to any problem you have they are well spoken and very competent at what they do. Our new branch manger seems good too
I have been at this site for more than 10 yrs pay is good but no room for advancement. Junior guards come and go frequently. Lots to do at the site. Access for a 24/7 call center Building is hectic at times.
Overworked and under paid. Not only that, you get to work with other guards who surprisingly remember to breathe. Management had good intentions but expect you to work well above what your pay reflects.
Worked at securitas for almost 10 years. I really enjoyed working at variety of different sites that securitas has to offer. Makes the job more interesting getting a different feel at various sites. I went onto the supervisory role and management. Benefits are offered and they're pretty decent. Being a guard is a unionized environment. It's great that they work around your schedule of you're in school or have a second job. Great stepping stone job if you're wanting to get into law enforcement as many guards that had worked with securitas moved onto policing. Great management and great work environment
GREAT COMPANY GOOD PAY, WITH BETTER WORK ENVIRONMENT. NOTHING MUCH I COULD SAY ABOUT THE COMPANY. VERY HELPFUL MANAGEMENT. The staff at Securitas are very professional and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my interview/hiring process.
Their training is very thorough as well. They make sure you know everything you need on the job and their classroom/training site is very up to date.
Dont waste your time if your have some dignity If you want a paycheck apply else where for the work they make you do they pay minimum wage. Again not worth while. Management is ridiculous. Employees are rediculous.
was told I would get a work placement at a permanent site ended up getting calls to travel 2 hours and not get paid travel time at all hours of the day and night for a 2 or 3 hour job once a week if I was called
