Events and Sales jobs are perfect for part-timers and full-timers with flexible timings according to your own schedule. Job is a little challenging but it gives sales bonuses as well.

Excellent customer service required Efficiency well versed to script Relate to customer No supervision Report to Field Manager on daily basis Stamina is required long hours walking Standing Excellent salary hrly + commission
Great management team, good places to work within, no stress , no pressure from management team, good training given, good pay with good commission , full time
The workplace setting was variable. No definite work-structure. The salary was minimum wage, but the commissions were uncapped, which made it a job of unlimited income.
Short breaks when you want
No definite work structure; Includes a lot of outdoor work
I learned how to sell credit cards at gas stations. Job requires a lot of approaching and soft skills. My manager Hossein was nice and friendly. This was a worthwhile experience as a whole.
Solo work, little or slow progression, not for everybody
The jobs I got with SDI were some of the most enjoyable jobs I've had. I got to meet great people, and it wasn't a stressful job at all! The events you work vary of course, and you don't have fixed hours because they contact you whenever they need you, usually a week or to prior to the event. The pay is good considering the amount of work you're expected to do. The only thing that might be an issue is that they take about a month to pay you, and sometimes (like in my case) someone in accounting forgets to send your pay. But this issue was quickly resolved by the the Brand Ambassador manager.
You get to work with amazing people and you're expected to have fun as part of the job
Some shifts can be long hours
During the CNE I worked here and it always gave you the opportunity to work long hours and make good money, so it was good. However I don't believe SDI does anything with the CNE anymore so this is kind of irrelevant.
Lots of Hours
Tired from all the hours
You have alot of fun serving to people coming in and out of the LCBO or Beer Stores. On top of that pay is really good for such a simple job. Loved it.
Not that many hours and only seasonal
They never paid my wages. Very dishonest company. No work culture at all. No Job security. All that was taught was to mislead customers to sign up for mastercards to hit targets Very unprofessional with poor compensation
Pay issues, dishonest, No benefits
i greeted potential clients at the door of the three local grocery stores and informed them of the benefits of acquiring a PC Mastercard. I wanted the client to see a need for the card, but was encouraged to misinform just for a sale. I enjoyed the client interaction and making them aware of the cards benefits. I would not misinform people with whom i lived and worked for a sale, but was usually able to find at least one aspect of the card that would be beneficial to all.
they, first of all, promised me more money then they ended up paying me and they were so disorganized. I didn't receive any direct deposit info until 2 days after I started and it took me 3 whole months to receive payment from them. very scammy and almost didn't get all my money
Good company with good moral standards and ethics, but no room for advancement and poor communication throughout management, HR and Head Office. No room for growth.
Fun people to talk to and work with.
No benefits, paid time off extended travel.
This company is great because they do a wide variety of events for their clients. The company enjoys a lot of fun activities to develop and maintain the culture at work.
Many cool events and free food.
No promotions and salary increases are tough to get
