At the Peace River location the work environment is tense, everyone always feels like they're tip-towing around, trying to be invisible and under the radar. The GM is haughty, suspicious of people for no reason, and very condescending to staff, always thinks people are conspiring or talking about them. Employees are reprimanded and disciplined in front of other staff and guests. Staff usually leave meetings in tears. Department managers are alright, but there are obvious favourites. In the time I worked there the number count of staff who started and quit over management was well into the double digits. It's sad, because if the GM were out of the picture, I believe it could become a great place to work.
