Basic Benefits, Hard Working Coworkers
I've worked at CDI (Zodiac Aerospace) for about 3 Years.
Unfortunately the experience wasn't what I expected an Aerospace industry to be.
Lots of newcomers to Canada are taken advantage of by very poorly developed Team Leads, effects their Supervisor needs within their Stores Department. If you look at the turn around of Supervisor employees coming and going, you'll see a history of issues with managing employees with respect and or lack of respect for ones culture because of the Team Leads bad mouthing their employees.
Their Production Support is fantastic, guys always willing to give it their all, even with a lower wage, not industry standards for Aerospace, but the guys always keep a positive motivate outlook. Company for some reason aids and promotes their poorly developed Team Leads with Bonuses and support for keeping the teams divided, at least that's how employees feel. Over all the company provides great basic benefits, but far from Aerospace Standards.
The day the Team-Leads are replaced within the Stores Depart with people who know how to treat employees will be the day Zodiac will advance in higher productivity measures.
