Good contract jobs (some have potential of being permanent). Approach and professionalism is superb. The clients are also great. Deeply respect their care for employees, flexibility and complimentary lunches/snacks. Good competitive pay too for the enjoyable fast paced team work.

Good place to work for and good people to work with. For Admin not much Career advancement to look forward to. Great Benefits no Bonuses. Sales staff has more benefits than an admin.

Very fast paced, high volume environment, metrics driven. Amazing culture, awesome management and extremely flexible. Great benefits, base salary is a little low, but if your a hard worker, you will see growth within 2 years.

Micromanagement et aucune flexibilité. Entreprise qui ne se souci aucunement de la conciliation travaille famille. Aucune considération humaine , lorsque vous êtes malade vous devez rester .On se sent comme un numéro. Kpi absurde . En sommaire : un centre d’appels où il faut faire le plus d’appels . Ce n’est pas un travail mais plutôt comme si on devait passer notre service militaire.

was not very interested in short term assignments - would not give long term assignments or closer to home work places - salary offered was getting decreased with every new assignment

-- Impedes growth and career development -- I raised a concern about training and how none of what was taught was being used in the day to day activities. Regardless if you are capable of doing more or more efficient, you will not be given more until a specific amount of time has passed. I worked on 4 tasks -- Does not do evaluations -- All the evaluations that I did get, I was the one that brought it up and asked what I am doing well and how I can improve. One of the senior employees there is 3 years overdue of an evaluation. I talked about goal planning and career goals and was told: "with more time, we will see what I can add more to your plate" . No coaching is given in terms of career development. The morale working here was quite abysmal. A lazy employee would offload their work like creating reports to another employee, and then take credit as their own. This happened several times and yet when brought up, nothing would be done. Work ethic does not mean much as compared to how long an employee has been in the position as the longer-tenured employees are favored. -- Office politics is huge here -- TSS / PSS and makes the office divided. It is very uncomfortable to work in the environment as there is an obvious divide in terms of management practices and how employees treat one another. There is no human resources here so if you have an issue with another employee, there is very little recourse to help mediate any situations that may arise without being seen as a trouble maker / not a team player. Very hectic and busy environment, however with their excellent training program everybody is set for success if they use the given tools. Management listens well and addresses issues. The competition is fierce between recruiters but if you follow what they preach you will get there but there is no room for slackers. The compensation plan is fair.

- no consistency, leadership is all over the place and not qualified for the positions that they are in - no fostering of office culture or moral - compensation structure is horrible - no investment by management in clients,establishing market knowledge or building the brand

Working with Accountemps means that you'll likely be able to find something pretty quickly, but mostly for only the short term (a few weeks or months). The problem comes when a good company wants to keep you, but they are stuck as hiring you permanently would cost them substantially more than if they took their time to find another employee without an agency representing them. When economy is tougher, it is highly unlikely you'll end up serving the company for longer than a few months and then end up training a replacement they find for half the amount they pay the agency. The benefit though is that you can rely on pretty steady pay, just keep in mind that it shouldn't be a long term plan if you ever want benefits such as vacation time (paid out on each paycheck), medical plan, or rrsp matching.

I've had two nightmare experiences with this company! They stuck me in positions that were suppose to "lead to permanent" and when it didn't after the 3 months I thought it may have been something that I had done at the job even though I was told I was doing quite well. 4 months later I got a call from someone else at Robert Half asking if I would be interested in a temp position that may lead to permanent at the same company! 4 months later & they haven't found a suitable candidate? that is hard to believe! They use temps to not have to pay for benefits. Robert Half employees I'm sure knew this info of the company as well. The second job they sent me to the manager was a screaming psycho path! Save your time and just look for your own positions you will be better off than going through this company who take a portion of your pay.

The position was sugar coated in the interview process, when really the job is telemarketing. The work environment is grey and depressing and employees are cramped into the office like sardines, which they refer to as the "Bull Pen". Certainly accurate if you want your employees to feel like cattle, as there is barely any room to move in that office. I spent most days on the phone all day having the same conversation with people over, and over again. You are surrounded by other staff who are all in their phones all day also. It is loud and difficult to concentrate. Employee recognition lacks, unless you are a top earner. Staff lunches are usually potluck and there are contests where staff are asked to donate to the social fund. I don't believe employees should spend their time and money on their own staff appreciation. To me this says the organization is too cheap to properly recognize their employees hard work. The way in which the job is designed, you will be required to trick and deceive people in order to make you weekly targets. You are required to interview people regularly even though there is no open position available to them. I think this is rude, deceptive and wastes people's time. In reality, only a very small percentage of people who are interviewed by Robert Half are actually placed with their clients. There is very high turnover, which they just say is due to the nature of the job and don't seem to see it's more likely that people are able to see through what the organization lacks. Great environment and the ability to work remotely is nice as well. the only draw back is that there is a constant draw against your paycheck. The compensation aspect can be a bit troublesome

I enjoyed working for account temps because I always received my pay with no issues. They gave me jobs which were a good environment to work in and most of the people were nice.

I am currently working at Roberthalf, and the team I work with is amazing. The only downfall is the pay for a position such as mines. I love working here, but I need more of a challenge, and an increase in pay for all that I do. I do so much for such little pay.
