They could do more in depth interviews so that their turn over rate isn’t so high. Besides that the money and time off are great. Travel and hotel expenses are all covered and the company looks after employees
redpath has a pretty good culture. They like to give there men modules to keep you trained and up to date on practices and procedures. I like working for redpath but they don’t pay well and have made mistakes on a couple pays. Missing days off the check. But overall is a good place to work.
terrible environment to work in, most guys are good but supers and shift bosses don't care about the mefety only production and same for harte gold they push to work past infractions, if u refuse to work they will bring young green horn to do the unsafe job, some heading are so unsafe its turns the stomach don't even want to see work performed in some heading..... no vent at all!!
I had found Redpath to be an amazing company to work for. They always put their workers first. Great training programs. The management is very knowledgeable. Great teamwork within the company and the clients.
Great opportunity for using talents and abilities. Planning your work at the beginning of the shift is crucial to a successful day. The entire day was enjoyable when everyone did their respective jobs. I always enjoy my work as an underground miner.
Challenging position. Great opportunities to work with different individuals and projects. EVery day was different. Learn something each day. Redpath team are very professional and always ready to help you in achieving your goals. Good safety culture with solid safety programs and work ethics. THe hardest part of my job was to deal with workers injuries and families. Enjoy the people and day to day challenges.
Since they are a contractor, enviroments depends on where the job is located. Every site is different although you are with the same company. It is underground work so of course danger and hard work is involved. It is not for everyone and if you expect everyday to be a walk in the park. Well it's not.
Good place to work very safety minded Always something new to learn in the industry Well managed co-workers great knowledgable fun to work with The hardest part was to Meet short deadlines The most enjoyable is working with the co-workers
My typical day involves a number of different departments as well as field communications. I have learned about many diverse cultures as it is a global company. I have the upmost respect for my coworkers who always rise to the task at hand. I work with various operating systems, employee needs, computer tasks, and payroll. The most enjoyable part of the job is the drive to ensure 100% efficiency and acuracy
This was my first taste as what office work was like and it was awesome! The tasks were all simple. I went from office to office collecting the discarded paper in everyone's blue bin so I could bring in downstairs to be shredded. Also did some filing around the office, scanned some documents from storage into the database to be filed electronically. Did some yard work like cutting the grass and weeding. The most fun thing to do was Friday BBQs at lunch time for the staff.
