Not a terrible place to work but very selective individuals. Very welcoming and great discounts but terrible hours. The worst part of the job was the managing staff but certain employees were very friendly.

No job advancement. No support from management. Poor work environment. Was not fun working here and management did not use my skills to what I deserved.

I enjoyed working at red lobster, and would like to again, staff and management were easy to get along with, the hardest part of the job was probably cleaning up at the end of the night but then again it was also relaxing knowing you put a good day of work in.

it is a good place to work, they treat you good and the safety procedures are always taken seriously so diners always get the best food.

I started off where I was needed as a dishwasher, advanced within 3 months to the production position where they utilized my abilities to have a more productive work day. My co-workers where very supportive and loved the fact that I would bounce around to help every position as needed and gave me the same respect. The management changed over the course of my employment in which at one point I was doing the kitchen managers job at night. (helping with the order, doing the food counts and closing the back section of the kitchen) It was not asked of me to do this however we lost two of the best managers at the same time while the third was on vacation. When I stepped up, little was done to compensate my extra efforts and though it was appreciated it was hardly vocalized to me. My fellow employees were grateful for my work ethic and willingness to help keep things a float while management had time to sort itself out.

Good staff very friendly.Some managers lacked restaurant skills.Working in such a busy place you get to meet a lot of interesting people.

i started out a t red lobster as a high school co op. i liked everyone i worked with and got hired in the new year of 2013. after working for about 4 months i started to get agitated with co workers. some co workers i got along with and could call team players, but others would just talk behind your back or treat you like dirt. management was okay. i highly enjoyed my general manager until she left on maternity leave. the benefits are great but icould not get on them because you have to work a maximum of over 20 hours a week and they did not give much hours.
