overall, summer's are good, winter time it slows down and you may not get work every single day. A typical days work would be 8 hours however it could easily could go longer than 8 hours.

Workload is too much and the salary is too less.
There is no development as you are too occupied with the work on hand and thus no extra development.

Training is missing and your are expected to handle everything with ease .

Work Load is not evenly distributed among the team members.

as per title, overtime galore in the summer months, barely working 8 hours a week in winter months. very hard to plan anything ahead as most day, i only find out schedule for next day around 3 pm some days, even later.

It's either my way or the highway attitude.


Head office (Vancouver) is always right and all branches have to follow head office and you cannot do your own thing if you wanted to in any event matter.

This is a very demanding occupation both physically and mentally very good monetary rewarding if you’re good at it and willing to sacrifice the rest of your life and oh yeah don’t become a drunk or dependent on other things I don’t want to mention

Summer time was great, loads of hours but sometimes we were overworked and underpaid, overtime structure isn't the greatest, winter it slows down to the point where you maybe get 3-4 shifts a paycheque.

Quality Move Management was your classic mover job, go to a house, pack everything into boxes, load the truck, and repeat in opposite for the unload. The days on average were long, my shortest was a full 8 hour shift, and my longest was around 15. Alot of the work they do is for government and military personnel so they took alot of care in the packing, unpacking and transport of stuff, much more than your average joe movers.

I have worked at other Moving Companies, and can say with confidence that QMM treats their Staff & Crew amazing in comparison. There is always room for advancement, and it's a fun environment to work in. There is always an open door policy with Management, and you get recognized for doing a great job. I highly recommend working here!

Everyone at the office is super friendly and easy to approach if you have any questions. It’s easy to reach out when guidance is needed while learning and the positive attitudes are inspiring! The work is always different and its a new challenge each day.

Summer months are very busy and demand an ability to work under pressure while also abiding to contractual deadlines. The day-to-day challenges faced by relocation coordinators are very dynamic and customer specific, as a result high quality problem solving skills are required to find quick and effective solutions.

Absolutely no work-life balance, especially during the busy summer season. Even at full capacity, the company still agrees to move customers, therefore resulting in more broken promises (to the customer), frustration from the customer and an overall bad review. Employees are spread way too thin and time management (during work hours only) is impossible. Some employees are lucky enough to be given laptops in order to work from home, but not all are privy to this luxury.

In order to be successful at this company, you must be willing to give 100% of your time 24/7 (even still not a guarantee unless you are a "managers pet").

It can be a strong company but the Labour can be given better incentives. Still too early to tell. This company is very versatile with international moves so with the right employees it can turn into something great in the gta., plus it already has great standings in Vancouver and it other locations.

Unless you really, really, really (I can't stress that enough) need work, do not take a job here. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, is untrustworthy.

They dress up the atmosphere as if they care about the crew/team and employee development; however, it's nothing but one lie after another, after another...Uncertainty and paranoia run rampant and plague this company to it's core.


The entire management team needs to take a good look at one another and realize that none of them is fit to lead a team. I am not sure how any of them reached a management position in this company. I can only speculate that it was through nepotism as their work ethic is lackluster at best.


I have nothing good to say about this company because there is nothing good about it. I don't include my time employed here on my resume as it is an embarrassment to my previous work history.

Worked here for under a year great pay great crews and they pay overtime which is unheatd of in the moving industry. Great front office staff that is very helpful when it comes to problems on the job. Very family orriented company and is very flexiable for when it come to family emergencies

Things have changed from before this company was sold.

There's obvious feeling now that if you don't perform well enough, then you are out the door. Too bad this isn't told to you up front.


The management team definitely thinks they are the smartest people in the company.

I worked in the office for a few months, it was a very fast paced environment with a steady workload, but it was manageable with a computer system that helped to organize your day. Upper management was very supportive, communicative in what their expectations were of an employee and supportive when you began to feel overwhelmed.
The benefits are excellent! Nothing else to say about that. I enjoyed the small feeling of the office and although it was a lot of work, you did feel appreciated for your efforts. The hours were great, no weekends and same shift every day.


The expectations of this job are very clear and it was an excellent environment to work in.

I really enjoyed the people I worked with at Quality Move Management, but it is highly stressful and there is significant gain for the stress. Dealing with people during the 3rd most stressful time in there life can take a lot out of a person. Also, my commute used to be 15-20 mins and the company relocated and I am now driving 30-45 mins into the west end of Edmonton.

I have learned many great skills in my role here and it has allowed me to grow and expand myself.

nothing you do will be good enough
you will not receive management suppport

you will be given a lot of promises but nothing will come of it.

you will have to take work home with you

the work load is astranomical and unrealistic

they do not pay according to industry standards

you will not receive a raise within your first year

benefits are the lowest you can get

you will not receive job security at this company

you will be bullied and demeaned in this company


there are some staff that are incredible people that are very supportive, however they are limited to helping as this company controls your emails and moniter all staff internal calls and email.

they are a sharp company that is motivated my money and not values people or their mental health.

profit sharing, but they usually recycle staff before you receive this benefit.

this company is a modern day sweat shop, will over work you and over stress you for no gain to yourself.
