Not every day is an easy day no matter where you work. What I've learned form working at Princess Auto is that you always have the support of your co-workers to help you get through the day. I enjoy my job as being a cashier because it gives me the chance to associate myself with customers and interact with them. Although, the management of the job in the other hand is very poorly done. The company do not have reliable workers to count on to show up for there shifts which has an effect on the store at times. However, like I was saying from before not everyday is an easy day you will always stumble across bad days but, you just have to push yourself through it no matter what the situation is.
While my boss was nice, the team of supervisors were biased, chose favourites, and overall would let some people get away with murder (longer breaks, not doing their work, talking badly about other team members, ect.), and would even take long breaks themselves, were late continuously, and we're generally not very approachable, though they claimed to be. As a company, their views and outlook are wonderful, and I felt supported and backed by the company as a whole, but the team leaders in there need some work, because they are all too immature and don't seem to care about what they're doing unless the boss is watching. Raising concerns never gets anything done, and people get away with way too much here.
Generally pays well, benefits are pretty alright, some team members treat you well.
Authorities pick favourites, unapproachable, insufficient training.
Not the greatest place to work at... A lot of hard work goes unseen and if you make one small mistake, management is on you asap. You will never hear a "good job" or a "keep it up" there's a lot of unnecessary drama and childish behaviour from your own team members and leaders (management).

Working there is unfair. They let people steal money and get away with it yet someone who works hard and makes a mistake honestly is fired and told they are no longer wanted. They are so unfair to the hard working person. If you don't do your work and you can do alot there and nothing will happen to you.Note don;t be hardworking they won't recognize you. They will recognize your lack of work and give you praise for it. Be warned going in there. Watch your back closely. Was there for 4 years and have seen alot.
Hard workers will get let go.
*Great co-workers *Lack leadership and opportunities for advancement *Demanded open avaiability then gave you few hours *Customers were the best *Promised you the sun, moon and the stars when hiring you then never came thru with anything that was promised (eg training in other areas of the store, amazing profit sharing, benefits) *Hardest part of the job was knowing that customers were praising your work to management and not getting recognized for your hard work *Management treated you like you didn't have a brain in your head *All management is not on the same page. Every manager wants things done their way. Made for a very long day trying to please all of them. *Not a friendly company to work for if you are trying to work more than one job--they demand all of your time and then give you very little back in return
Freindly co-workers and customers
Demanding all your availability so no time for your kids or family
Hardest part of the job is getting up at 5am for shift that starts at 6am. Enjoyable part of the job is the people I worked with. Typical day at work is putting stock out, receiving trucks, doing customer orders, shipping, organizing warehouse.
benefits, work hours.
