Member Service Representative (Ancien employé) – Barrie, ON – 20 juillet 2019
The best thing about working here were the select few coworkers. They made the job tolerable and enjoyable. Other than that, management treats you like you’re expendable; just workers putting time in, instead of human beings with separate personal lives outside of work.
You are expected to go above and beyond for as little as minimum wage, with absolutely no room for growth. Management will act friendly and respectful in front of your face, but will talk bad about you behind your back as soon as a chance presents itself. Completely unprofessional and immature for people who are of such high authority.
Not to mention, your demands for a comfortable and safe work environment will get ignored because management favours certain workers over others. In short, if you are not good friends with management outside of work, expect to get the short end of the stick all the time.
If I could, I would tell everyone to avoid working here, it is not worth your time and mental health. You can find other jobs that will pay the same (or more!) that will treat you like a human being. Save your energy.

Customer Service Representative (Employé actuel) – Brampton, ON – 1 octobre 2019
Seriously. It pays the bills.... the minor ones at least. The only true upside to this place is that they're honestly so understanding of school and life schedules. As long as you do your job, they will give you a schedule that works around your needs. Also, the easiest customer service job ever. And I've been in the field for a millennium.
An awesome work environment that teaches you self discipline.

Working at Planet Fitness has been, so far, the most rewarding job that I have ever had. During my time there, I was able to gain confidence to work out, both mentally and physically, something that I was too insecure and scared to do prior to working there. I also learned self discipline, and I am grateful for the time that I was given to work there :)
