How would you say… Slave labour. They pay you $8 an hour. Then they say while you make up for in tips. It’s straight illegal. Took this job because was almost impossible to find anything full-time just use it as a steppingstone to the next job. A lot of their employees were stuck there for years getting paid eight dollars an hour. Tried to report this to the labour Ford unfortunately fell on deaf ears even know they had multiple reports of this exact same thing
Full time job
Slave labor. Owners are rude
during my duty hours the pizza store was really busy. customers came in through the door to place an order also some orders are getting online too. my duty is to give right orders to the customers.
The Barrie South location is terrible! The owner is abusive and has no clue how to run a business, he is gone overseas for months at a time. He doesn’t pay staff on time or follow ESA. He just yells and screams at everyone, it’s a revolving door. Avoid this place at all costs!

Working at the Pizzaville call centre is great because the workplace is very accommodating to your schedule needs and perfect for someone who has another job or is attending school, etc. Also the job is very easy and very laid back as you do have the freedom to do whatever you want as long as you are taking calls, not a strict place to work. Does get repetitive and boring.

The place was an okay environment overall. My manager and boss were very unprofessional with their job and failed to train me properly which resulted in a few issues. The computer system for me to input customer's orders was very unorganized and confusing. My bosses also did not want to go through the hassle of writing me checks so I was paid under the table and resulted in $7 and hour, 6 hours per week.
The work place was close to my home and school.
They would give my shift to another employee without telling me, overall I was left working 1 shift a week.
I worked as a Cashier and prep cooked. The environment was extremely fast-paced. Consisted of effective communication and organizational skills. Multitasking was a every shift must as I would be taking orders, payments while helping prep food. End of the shift we cleaned, refilled and organized for the next shift. Loved working alongside a productive, positive crew in an amazing environment
For a first job it is a pretty good place to start as it teaches you alot about teamwork and customer service. The managers are usually supportive and it is a fun atmosphere as the coworkers are constantly joking around but still on task
Working at pizzaville was awesome.I enjoyed working here especially the location in brantford, ontario.I become energetic and optimistic .I learnt culinary skills like preparing pizzas, cutting vegetables for toppings, kitchen clean and organized.
boss like to yell, paid less.
- A typical day at work changes depending on if you open your by yourself and doing all the duties by yourself and the same goes for closing but u have a driver with you. During the rush you have a team with you to help out.
I have been working at Pizzaville since May 2018. Ever since I worked at Pizzaville, I became an optimistic and energetic person. Despite the fact that my boss is strict, yells, and says mean things, I treat him as my military school teacher. I learnt culinary skills like preparing meat and vegetables and how to keep the kitchen clean and organized. Hopefully I will get an official job and pay for my college tuition and living expenses.
Free Pizza, Cannot easily get fired for making small mistakes
Paid only $5/hour, boss likes to yell and say mean things
