At the start, one gets promised a lot. Huge income, benefits from day one, etc...be aware, if it sounds unreal, it probably is. Dispatcher makes mistakes, supervisor provides no support and one lie follows the other. No work contract provided, that way they think they always win.
One of the worst possible places to work . If you respect yourself, you'll trek elsewhere. They're always hiring for a reason . Don't waste your time . Bunch of fakes. Not a happy little family . You'll be a workhorse while everyone else goes on vacation . Favoritism at its finest.

Being treated like garbage by staff, managers, customers. Scheduling is absolutely terrible.
not a good place to work a lot of back stabbing lots of customer complaints lots of break downs very unorganized back stabbing snide remarks etc
Don't apply there unless its going to ve very short term. You will hate your job after a few months. No help from other cashiers nothing is done about it Always getting complaints no matter how hard you try.
You never know when you are going to have to work extra shifts
The work environment between coworkers was fraught with gossip and back biting, management did not support stafff and used veiled threats of termination upon every interaction when discussing work issues.Flying J consistently works new Canadians many more hours that 44 wk and doesn’t pay overtime or very little since they do not consider that working 9-10 days in a row as breaking labour rules because they pay weekly and therefore the 10 days is in two pay periods.They do not give sick days and vacation is needed to take time off if I’ll and you want to get paid.The work environment is generally negative and I do not recommend this organization to anyone.
Favouritism, threats of termination is a norm, no discounts. Overtime’s is not followed under labour act.

This place needs to be investigated by corporate. Plain and simple. They tell you that you can't be at work because of corporate policy then hold it against you and count it as not showing up for shifts. General Manager needs to be replaced
Inconsistent Hours, Favoritism, Lack of Communication
Should be investigated. Plain & simple. Never seen or heard of so many employees going on stress leave! I had a former employee tell me before she went on stress leave “ This place will drag you down more then you know the longer you’re here” She was right!
You may be a good worker but with a bully, incompetent district manager who looses high performing staff every few months, expect to be stressed and burnt out in no time.
Pay and benefits are good but that's eroded by the highly stressful environment
District manager management style very dictatorial
I loved working here. There was new challenges everyday. But the job is only as good as the attitude you bring to it. It certainly requires more skills and aptitude than most other jobs and you aren't compensated in like manner however it can be a very fun place to work and you are appreciated when you do your best.
Management doesn't care about you they only care what they want. There is zero equal rights between cultures the new management is absolutely horrendous. They say they are flexible with shifts and they are not, they say great wage and benefits, there isn't. They talk down to their employees (especially ones that have been there for years). The new manager has asked afew of us why we havent quit yet
The pay is just above minimum wage. The staff form their own cliques and they do not give full time hours in the general sense. Missing work for any reason whether it be illness or children is frowned upon. However, you can make some really good friends if you know how to weed out the bad ones
Liked the people however didn't get paid enough for my experience. The assistant manager had a chip on his shoulder and would delegate his duties to my shift. He had no real skills to deal with conflict with guests or staff. I was truly amazed he had retained his position after two years even with consistently creating unnecessary problems and causing good staff to leave
Gsl/management When you apply for the job, so your training at another store, you think it’s all glory and day time shifts, but in the end you get all evening shifts, so you never get supper with your family, you work EVERY weekend when you request a weekend off you get harped on for it. So kiss your evenings and weekends goodbye. The day shift versus the night shift are just two different cliques! Managers can be traded or switched at the drop of a hat with no notice!
I worked as a maintenance worker and while the manager was a very friendly out going young lady. She needed some more training. Staff was found sleeping out back once. Truck used for garbage clean up was always broke. Garbage disposal was never emptied on time. Owner was a real jerk about tattoos until a maintenance worker let him know it was 2000 something and needed to get with the times. Now apparently you can show your ink freely. Some people coming through where pretty sketchy.

The management is horrible there. Their is so much favourable. The favours go out for dinner dates together. Turnover it crazy high for this company because of the favorites getting away with everything. This is not a company to work for. This is coming from someone that has worked for the company for 6.5 years.
No people's skill Management has no visions, you may fall in love this job in interview or by job posting article but once you finished few months you can see different.

work for this company for almost 1 1/2 year and beside the bully i got from the customer and the from the supervisor.. really really not recommending this company. imagine doing the GI on a washroom while doing the shower is really unbelievable.supervisors there you know who you are talking about.
