Long hours and inconsistent workloads are the tip of the iceberg. One of the only Pepsi locations not run by a third party contractor, so management is allowed do as they please and treat people poorly without any accountability or transparency. Beyond disorganized. Should not advertise part time positions, as unofficially, genuine part time availability is considered for and often leads to more consistent decrews (they don't follow their own decrew policy, either). So basically unless you're willing to be unofficially near full time, your availability is held against you. If you have "enough" availability and they like you, they force feed you more hours than you ask for. It was a second part time job on it's own to ask management to get your schedule correct week to week. Nobody is there for drivers at 4am if something goes wrong, leading to longer days. They play favourites and at times take the opinions of these favourites into account when scheduling others for more hours or less - in what world is it common to have management enable subordinates to influence scheduling decisions regarding their peers? Their summer student positions pay $5 less for the EXACT same work - talk about cutting costs at every corner. Never seen a workplace culture as poor as this.
Management, uncomfortable working conditions, physically demanding, inconsistent part-time hours
Put in 7 years of my life giving my all evey day, working overtime creating new experiences giving my all. Just to be packaged out. I found out every few years they package out their service desk. So just kicked to the street after almost a decade with no real reason other then to save a bucks.
None free pop
Terrible management terrible work life balance no training no job security
It was a great experience. There’s lots of room to grow, managers are awesome. It is very fast paced and very competitive. You need to stand out but i loved the challenges that it brought day to day.
Growth, challenges, experience
Work and life balance, very competitive
Pepsi had great people to work with but started treating people like dirt around 2012. It just kept getting worse, and instead of fixing problems they would do massive re-orgs every year. Basically management just kept trying to hide its failures and laying people off and then started outsourcing everything. You could work yourself to death and the only recognition you'd get was from your own team members. If you want a promotion you have to stay in everyone's face to get it because favouritism and cronyism is the way they work.
Pay was decent
Upper management plays favourites.

This is a great place to work. The work load isn’t by any means unrealistic. The culture at Frito-Lay is second to none. I left because of restructuring of the warehouse. I would definitely work for the PepsiCo group again if an opportunity come up. It’s a great company.
Would like more hours/shifts
Pepsi was best job I ever had sure you work hard but you get paid for lots of opertunity to advance and become manager i was there 32 years to retirement best job I ever had!!
Long hours on holidays mainly 4th of July.
This place is a dogs breakfast, they run you into the ground. They provide little to no training. There is no career mapping and leadership is very hands off. You are not valued at all and not supported. Managers just care about CDA and score cards. People are promoted faster if they went through the sales leadership program. Women will receive jobs within 1/3 of the time as men and not have to go through the same levels of the business. This employer willingly let staff go to stores with positive Covid-19 cases if there was (no direct contact) with that case or department. They just care about volume and that's it. If you want a life outside of work do not work for this company...
flexible start time
long hours, no support
This is the best place I have worked. I left the job just because I completed a graduate degree in software engineering. I loved working there and would love to go back at some point in the future
long drives within the GTA can be exhaustive

The places used to be awesome ! New management too over and it’s a dive . Turnover is very high ... no room for advancement... they take advantage of employee’s based on quickness . Busting your butt for nothing .
Great pay, good HR
Grumpy old guys working 40 years, worst management ever ... management are all friends and don’t care about employees.
It's a very lonely job. Managers are new graduates and they have not any experience. My company phone and email account was given 5 months after I started working. Nobody in the company knows anyone. Employee turn over is very high. Nobody work as a Sales Rep. in Pepsico, We are working like a grocery clerk. In my opinion, they have to change the title of this job to Grocery Clerk.
poor management, long working hour
The job involves physical work but the Company and Management are supportive. Proper Work-Life Balance maintained. Great Benefits for regular employees. Flexible timings.
Flexible Timing and Work-Life Balance
Physical work, lots of bending, lifting and shoulder movement involved
Would definitely recommend this workplace to other people looking for a relaxed environment with chances to move up within the company for how hard you work.
Pepsico is a very unorganized company. I worked for the Grande Prairie location and at first it seems like it will be a great place of employment but things quickly change no work like balance whatsoever. I was working 6 sometime even 7 days a week and still barely made enough money to pay my bills. The manager abuses his power and is no help at all, never checking on his most essential employees. I would never recommend this company to anyone!
