Negative work environment and lacks culture

Work here used to be fun and there was a solid culture in place. People were respected and the company took care of its employees and ensured that people were happy. Over the last few years there has been a drastic change in the way the company operates. No one listens when there is problems - it always comes to down to people not working hard enough. Doesn’t matter if the execution plans to hit an astronomical target are lacking in customer support or are just simply unrealistic - “you’re just not working hard enough!”. The fingers are always pointed to the frontline and their perceived “inability to execute”, no one higher level is ever really held accountable for improper or flaky communication, or for a lack of clear direction. “Control what you control” is uttered 10 times daily by every manager and employee. The company loves to do a million things really poorly instead of focusing on a few key things and doing them very well. The majority of retail customers the frontline have to deal with on a daily basis are miserable and awful to PepsiCo employees. The grocery industry is not a happy place - I don’t know anyone that actually loves working in it or around it. This will not change...ever. Not PepsiCo’s fault but if you’re reading this and searching for a job in the industry, it’s important to know this. Not everyone is miserable, but there are a lot of them and trust me, just a single encounter with one can ruin your whole day. And you will encounter at least one person like this, per day if you are working in the retail grocery stores. As a rep or vendor you -

worst training program ever. I got some experience with popular brands but honestly sold my soul to make it happen just not worth it. management is horrble

Good wage. Stable job. Management not good. Job culture needs improvement.

They start with $19.04 per hour for new hires which is good for a warehouse. They stick the newbies in the worst departments. Either night shift or repack. Repack has one of the most toxic management and certain workers who feel entitled. Job turnover is pretty high. Physical and demanding work. Sometimes boring just standing and folding cardboard. Benefits after 740 hours work and no advancement until you're one year in. Good for short term income and good for long haul if you want to be part of union and have seniority.

Boring and without satisfaction.

I was staying 7 months and I was very, very disappointed.In the last 10 years the company had more than 10 electrotechnician and with this I told everything.
