No day is ever the same in community nursing. It keeps your physical assessment skills up to par and your critical thinking must be top notch. If you re looking for variety and flexibility in your schedule then community is the place to be.
It's got the best of both worlds, you can work as much as you like. Though could improve on some things. There are lots of hours for workers that are skilled and know there jobs. They could improve on better training for new hires, and not overlapping schedules as much as they do. Quality is what counts. They have a tendency to overwork people for more then 8 hours a day.
I’m just tired of running around to different places and having scattered hours in a day. In Kingston it was lots of driving at times and with the price of gas it’s just not worth it. Besides that it was a great job my supervisor was amazing.
