Very unique place to work. Lots of culture. It was very professional from the owners that carried through all the staff. Was a pleasant experience working with the Pampa Team.
Not great hours with a family.
Not a good place to work. The owners mistreat all of the staff. That are greedy and the servers have a lot of their tips given to the managers on top of the 7% they already tip out. Not a good place to work. Staff are great, owners are awful.
horrible owners that take most of the tips from the wait staff. You work like crazy, very hard work, the owners treat you like garbage.
Incredible coworkers the managers are professional and very respectful. Owners are difficult and do not follow the rules leaving managers in a difficult position. For the owners you are just a number.
Great managers and coworkers
Salary, personal life and do not follow the rules
I worked 2 years in the Grill area. The team of "gauchos" are very kind and hardworking. The FOH and BOH team are all kind and friendly. A very good working atmosphere. Managers are open to talking about our joys and dissatisfactions. I have good memories of the Calgary team. At Christmas time it is very busy and it is a little stressful.
great team, free lunch
Great team to work with but the owners are selfish, racist and no respect to some of their staff. Their corporate team is a joke and inexperienced. Most of the time, they don't know what their doing and they are just relying to their hourly staff. Both chef from corporate and owner wants to serve the food even though it is not good, expired or it fell from the floor to save cost. They always cut corners to save money even though it is illegal. If they like you, they will make your your life easy (even though the staff is useless) but if they don't like you, they will make your life miserable to forced you to quit so they will not pay severance.
long hours of work, no overtime

- minimal help from managers while working -you cant process gift cards so you have to get a manager -bartenders continuously rotating so drinks aren't consistent / less experience -friendly crew
free lunch sometimes
work drama is a thing
A lot of miscommunication, especially with different languages. Not a lot of English used in the kitchen. Cut my hand really bad and was told it was ok and to apply pressure and went to the dr after my shift and had it glued together. Expectations are way too high for what they pay, a lot of pressure that shouldn’t be there. A lot of why can’t you be better. Management was very judgemental and not understanding at all. Overall horrible experience. Do not work here.
When you start was good, but after they give to you too much and they didn't recognize your skills, the management team is good, but they put a lot of pressure in your arms
If you’re looking to make good money as a server work here! I worked here over the summer and made lots of cash in tips. I especially loved the people I worked with and management, everyone was always very helpful if you needed something and you had 5 other things to do. Though this is not a laid back serving job, I found it very high stress and had a lot of memorization involved, plus some yelling as you have to greet every table the same with an explanation of how the restaurant works, and the restaurant itself can sometimes be very loud.
great high quality food ,very expensive for the average city folk great staff but management are not very skilled , very strict workplace culture Duties will include prepping meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, cooking meals, checking ingredients for freshness, and arranging and garnishing the dishes. You will also be in charge of ensuring that the kitchen and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.
Fun place to work. Great training and experience in the kitchen and front of house. Interaction with guests is enjoyable. Sometimes when busy it’s extremely stressful and difficult to maintain quality of service due to often short-staffed nights. High stress with expectations of work quality. Management often times is quite critical of performance and scapegoats employees when things don’t run smoothly. Advancement can be difficult to achieve.
I learn a lot of things in this job, like become creative person and become cooperative, work as a team. the most enjoyable part of the job is when working as a team like helping each other and there's a lot of communication here so you cam focus on your job and finish it on time.
always cut hours
No one sin management is sure of what their job entitles and no manager is committed enough to step into a leadership role. this goes for back and front of the house. thankfully the staff do their respective jobs well.
