YP has been asleep at the wheel for many years.
Reps have learned to game the system to earn their commission and they move on. There is no ownership.
As an outside Sales Consultant you will be given a group of random accounts- THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR. Regardless if the prior rep sold them the world. Regardless of if they saw ZERO results in their online activity, regardless of whether their add even had the right number in it. In some cases, you'll get accounts that auto-renewed FOR YEARS (meaning the rep prior claimed they couldn't connect with them) and if you do your job and connect with that decision maker who says "I didn't even know we still had YP ads and that number no longer is valid, please cancel" YOU OWN THAT *ISH!
Nice group, but they desperately need to clean up their act, get with the times, to stop passing the buck, focus on better sales practices that ACTUALLY have the client in mind and Invest in better technology.
I feel sorry for their clients that spend their hard earned ad dollars with this dino.
