Company has its issues
This organization provides an excellent product. That said, their internal resources are stretched to the limit due to a management culture that is not conducive to comradery. As the consultant, I heard the Senior Management complain about Middle Management and workers in the exact same manner I heard each of the other 2 complain about the Senior Management and about each other. When I was there I was a 'sounding board' for this organization. They do not talk to each other about the issues, they merely sit and stew about them and, when given an opportunity to voice their concerns to a consultant, they take advantage of that. It is not a positive atmosphere to work.

I answered calls and directed them to the appropriate person, I invoiced clients in Accpac based on their specifications as well as e-mailed, faxed or mailed their invoices depending on their instructions. I had provided the Controller with daily sales and Month to Date Sales. I distributed incoming mail, opened and stamped vendor invoices, matched them with PO's, if there were any discrepancies I would give them to the person who made out the PO and have them contact the vendor and straighten the issue. If there were any issues I would bring it to the A/P clerk and she would deal with it. I ordered office supplies once a month, kept inventory of kitchen supplies, sent our courier packages, was the secretary of the Joint Health and Safety Committee, I kept record of plates that were purchased for customers orders,reconciling them with the invoices we received from our vendors, insuring that the customers were charged for them. The hardest part of the job was satisfying the General Manager, I had changed the reception area to make it more inviting and more business like but he always found something not to his liking. The most enjoyable part of the job were the staff, they made me understand the different departments and how they all came together, they were very supportive in me being apart of the Joint Health and Safety because then I was able to see first hand how the various machines worked and understood what the issues were that were brought up in the meetings.
