I hate the culture. People are in cliques, they aren’t particularly welcoming. No leadership support with minimal training. Seniority based, terrible union culture. New people hate the culture.
Raises for Exempt employees is annually and the Union members have a 5 year collectively bargained agreement, which includes annual raises voted on during ratification.
Technically the dress code is business casual but I would go with full business for an interview.
The insurance industry has its regular annual peaks and valleys, but overall, PBC is always looking at way to improve their service offerings so it keeps things busy and interesting.
The work is good if you keep to yourself. The people could use a serious refresh. People love to talk about how they’ve been here for 13+, 30+ years. It explains why they aren’t progressive.

It was ok. There were just too many interviews for what they needed to know. I think I had 3 or 4 interviews and they could have only had 1 or 2 at the most for the information they required and to get to know me.
