Olymel LLC. is a great place to develop experience working with a team. In Olymel, employees learn to work hard to meet production quotas. The workplace environment is intensive, so having a strong foundation in hard work is a must.

This work location is line work in a refrigerated environment working with Bacon. Cooked and uncooked as well as Hams. Most departments are a quick pace with good hand eye coordination. Most of them do not have much heavy work.
Meat order system for employees.
For new employees it can be stressful.

working at olymel was a good experience. the people were always so nice and welcoming. it was a nice seasonal job and i got plenty of hours. working at the plant is a little bit overwhelming, i didnt mind the noise but i problems with the cold temperature.
Steady employment brought routine to my life and an ability to pursue social objective. Married and work well with family. Job continued for the term of 9 years with minor lay-offs
Overtime lunches, routine hours
Cool at time in work area
I was a temporary worker. The job itself was alright. But they threatened to fire me for asking to take a day off to attend a funeral. They constantly emphasized how much they needed me to work (which is why I was not allowed days off), but randomly sent me home, gave me random days off, and I essentially worked 4 days in 3 weeks in the month of June.
Olymel was a great company to work for, my co-workers were outgoing, and the management was fantastic. I worked many different lines and had to adapt to many different situations.
