From what I experienced, managers don’t really care about you. However, the fellow associate always treat each other with respect and the atmosphere is always supportive.

Either really busy or really quiet. Hard to keep up with the amount of stock on the floor. Loved the app to keep track of shifts. Mandatory after hours meetings were unnecessary I found.

Cutting hours

nice to work here, but if it's not busy during yhe day they will cut hours and send you home. knowing you have 4hours shift only in a day then they will cut your hours for 2-3 hours . not knowing you travel by transit just to stay for a couple hours

Work isn’t very demanding, but don’t recommend if you can’t handle retail. At least a couple annoying customers each day. Very easy to learn skills of the job, but if you’re looking to move up at all maybe don’t bother- certain management positions are too much work for the pay you get. If you’re hired seasonally/part time there’s a risk your hours will get cut until you’re forced to leave.

Flexible hours and fast-paced. Luckily most co-workers were easy to get along with. The training was pretty easy. My role as a brand ambassador was pretty basic, it terms of responsibilities.

It’s a nice company to work for as a part time employee. The managers are friendly and cooperative. As a student you get basic pay and can earn your living easily. The work culture is amazing. I learnt a lot here especially the client serving. Most enjoyable part of the job is the employee discount.

The best part of the job is discounts for all stores under Gap Inc. And my coworkers are generally nice. Most team leaders/ management are approachable but not all of them. The store is usually busy so the workload is definitely a lot, but will get breaks between hours. Personally, I think more training should be provided as I was very confused at the beginning.

Company offers great wage and bonus structure with a excellent discount and benefits, upper office is very organized . Can be a bit clickie with upper field and manipulation need to be very careful with who you trust. Don’t assume you will have a outside life it’s very normal for GMs to work endless hours and regardless of the work you put in the company sees what’s not being done they are extremely criticize and hard or please so the money isn’t worth the mental stress and not having time for family they don’t care about your personal life it’s all business with them.

Great job for students! The team was fun to work with and they are flexible when it comes to your school schedule. They do have a black out period tho so be sure to submit your exam dates ahead of time

Like any place, there are occasionally people who are less than decent. However the company as a whole (especially head office and district managers) shows it cares little for its part time and full time brand associates and leads by their lack of compensation, promotions and overall acknowledgement for extra/harder work.
