This company need a complete overhaul. From management, to hiring methods, to product.

Customers are forced to buy $4000 packages that are lucky to include 160lbs of meat. If the customer complains about the lack of volume the company will dock the rep $300+.

They claim to be all natural and free range. The fact is they have very little connection with "local" farms. Most meat is bought in bulk from a large meat cutter and repackaged.

Work life balance is terrible. You will be working 6-7 days a week. 10-13 hours a day to mininum. You will also be expected to answer all emails at ALL hour no matter what your situation is.

You do not get to keep your customers. Reorders are redistributed to Managers to pad their wallets.

I will 1st start off and say Nutrafarms is a great company with a fantastic product. This company is the perfect company to work for as a young person gaining experience in direct sales for a future career while still living at home with limited expenses.This position will be a job and would be very tough turning it into a full-time career.
I did this job many many years ago well before NFarms. I did well back then but when I worked with this company for extra money,the negatives all came back to me from years past.
In today's world,families are so much smaller and women are in the workplace so therefore,cooking habits have changed (some don't know how to cook),or no time to cook. Fast food has drastically changed the landscape of home cooking which is sad because people are getting sick because of this.Workplaces are demanding more hours from their employees limiting time and energy to cook but also both husband and wife have a little extra money to eat out when they are both working.
The other problem this industry has is many people do not eat red meat or very little. They also don't have a freezer for a truck load of food.Some will tell you that when they have a bad financial month,they will eat cheaper meats and when they do well,they might go out and buy a nice steak to cook or go to a steak house. They don't want to be paying monthly charges to eat steak or other food products.

Nutrafarms advertises 364 days of the year same ad,but sometimes different headlines to hide this fact. They say 70K a yr,80K a yr,120K a yr.If this was correct,in todays economy,there would
  plus... be line ups around the corner to work there. You know how successful you will be when you see sales ads constantly. It is obviously a revolving door where very few are successful.
Too bad because they are great people and have great product even tho they have competition.
The hardest part of the job is convincing people to finance their food.
Most enjoyable part is the satisfaction of people commenting how beautiful the quality..

lead generation for meat/vegetable packing/delivery company

typical day
show up
prep lead sheets
everyone gets into the Van and we head into area 10-30min travel time depending on location

I learned, I should have worked for two months then quit.

management was terrible at first disorganized/unfair area placement/always late but it recently underwent some changes things running in a much better state nowadays.

co-workers are fine but most don't last long job has high turn over rate due to income uncertainty/ plus the door-to-door sales guys scammer scum stigma attached

hardest part of the job;
watching the sales team bomb on or drop your leads. as it results in you working for free.
they only pay you commission after 2 months for "runs" and no bonus if that "run" turns into a "sale".

example -
so say 2 months in you have a terrible week or two and you get few or no "runs"
you end up the chump a walking billboard advertising for practically free.

outside walking talking to people job is very easy.

salary pay ends/ commision structure is poorly run, managed / few incentives. Travel to Area adds to commute/ not paid for time.

A small company with little room for advancement ok for people looking for job not career

Hours 2-9 Mon-Fri. Sat 9-3
Waited at home for a lead, could be any time so had to be ready about 12
All leads provided but may not see business until 4-5 p.m. depending on area
You are an independent contractor responsible for any and all expenses, if you don't work you don't make money
Enjoyed the people I worked with but found it hard to always enjoy the job because it is all on your skill level as to what you make and luck of the draw if the lead will be a good one or not.
I enjoyed feeling as though I helped people make the decision to eat healthier and not have to spend a fortune to do it.
