Stressful but fun with coworkers. Low pay for the job you're doing. If you're on phones you're only getting $13 an hour, and if you're on chat talking to three customers at any given time, you get the same pay.

Thanks for taking some time to share your feedback. We understand that sometimes customer service can be difficult, this is why at Nordia we pride ourselves with our competitive wages and benefits. We wish you all the best and continued success.
I loved helping our customers; I was frequently praised by my supervisors for my ability to de-escalate a difficult situation and renew a customer's confidence in the company. However, we had frequent equipment failures (daily!) and I do not believe the stats were fairly calculated. We were required to "save" customers who were at risk of leaving. We did not have the necessary provisions to convince customers to remain, but after the customer cancelled their service, an outbound agent would call them back and offer them substantial discounts to remain. Thus, we would be deducted for "losing" the customer, when both the company and the customer knew that they would end up getting a better deal and remaining anyway.

Negative working environment

Worked here for 5 months, on the postings and at hiring there was lots of promises of big paychecks and bonuses and career advancement. Not true at all. The wage is only good if you can meet their exceedingly high standards and then it was only a chance at a draw for a good prize half the time?? Granted I worked essentially in cancellations department for which you better not let anyone cancel anything.or you're in trouble. Actual trouble. I had 1 person cancel and I got written up. Not happy. Management also sucks and wont help you if you need it. Hours were long and most of the people complained constantly.
The management team as well as the extensive training, benefits, and pay were awesome. They make you feel like a little work family and it’s really nice. You can tell they try to keep employee morale up and actually care about you. Unfortunately the actual job is just horrible. I’ve never been so stressed and anxious in my life to be honest. It’s just people yelling at you all day. And the hours aren’t great at all. You have to work all nights and weekends at first

Decent pay but dear God... seniority of hours is based on how long you've been with the company. Management needs some overhaul. Maybe new blood to operate as it appears to be a "if we like you we keep you" place.
Bonuses, Decent people
Norida itself as an employer is actually quite good, it's the work environment and the customer base that makes this work difficult. Benefits for employees after 6 months is great, something you don't get with other smaller jobs. The pay is really great compared to the minimum wage, and bonus can be earned based on how well you do, so your paycheck is somewhat up to you. That being said, I find something within me had to break to stay there beyond a year. I often have to turn off my personal feelings and just do what's best for the company and pretend. The people I work with though truly are my newfound family and I've made some great friends while working here. This has been a perk for working here, but the work is tricky and the customers are difficult. Scheduling is one of those things that I've managed to somehow get the regular schedule I want. It does fluctuate here and there but I usually have a steady schedule which is nice. I find if my schedule is a little different somewhere, usually majority schedules are a little different too. For some, it works, and it really turns into a career but it does not work for everyone and the company knows that, so it's easy for them to get new people in. The turn over is high but give it a try, it might be what you're looking for.
I loved the people that I worked with, management was awesome. There’s always help from everybody around you! The job just wasn’t that great for pay, benefits, and the stress that comes along with it. I didn’t think it was worth it so I left. Hours also were not that great.
Been there 5 years as a call center agent Management and staff very supportive Great place to work flexible hours paid training on phone wage increase bonuses prices
Team parties / lunches
really good place to work, management is really good they helped a lot in improving my self, but its really difficult to balance the life over there, no fixed start time, no fixed end time, its really difficult to maintain the life balance in this way, the salary is fare
Worked at Nordia for over 2 years at the Peterborough location and let me tell you the company and management is saturated and toxic. There is no room for promotions, you do not get regular raises, only based minimum wage increase past $1 to keep "competitive" when minimum wages goes up. The inventive wages for the job are reachable, but at a cost of manipulating your stats for your job. This means you are rewarded more money by actually not doing you job. (being quick on the phone) . you are also heavily punished via your stats and incentive payout that are not under your control such as having to transfer to a department. you are then punished for that and effects your pay. on top of that, management micro analyzes everything you do and only point out negatives, not what you have improved on.
Despite having an understanding staff and more than fair compensation, Nordia's policies regarding sick leave and vacation scheduling have deteriorated over the years. The primary advantage to working at Nordia is their bonus structure. When working in a lead role there is no additional incentive and it is extremely uncertain that the candidate will be advanced at all. Even after two years of lead time in some cases. This makes Nordia's culture overtly focused on bonus payouts rather than personal development. If you want to make money and gain experience in sales, this might be a good choice but beyond a couple years there's not much advantage to having tenure unless you feel like arguing about it.
Health care, stringent discipline in some cases.
Nordia est un bon employeur. Le salaire est compétitif, les avantages sociaux sont très avantageuse quand on a une famille car elle est complète.
Pas assez d'opportunités d'emploi lorsqu'on est pas complètement bilingue
Working at Nordia was a very good experience. The scheduling was always a problem because there was no flexibility from the management in schedules and work timing was always no ideal. No chances of growth not because of any politics but there was no space to penetrate. The wages were decent and some opportunity for overtime who wants to make some extra money. Good incentives if the performance is above average. No stress from the management but sometimes a lot of stress from customers.
Stressful, no work life balance
Good incentive, no pressure from management
