Good company that treat their employees right

It is a good company to work for. But when it comes to growing in the company it seems that there are positions that come around where I would completely qualify and not receive even any acknowledgement that you applied for an internal position. Just seems like they have postings for new openings but nothing is being done with it . Feel trapped in my position. My only choice is to work on finding an new job outside of this place.

Unecessary drama, But in general most customers are very nice and respectable.

Fun workplace and a responsive management.

Fun workplace. Job is monotonous.Low salary, but fair sales commission.Responsive management and not much pressure on the job.Performance is recognized and rewarded.Flexible working arrangements.

Good Job. Adapted well to Covid-19.

The job is what you expect from a call centre, sitting at a desk and taking calls. They did adapt very well to Covid 19. I was hired during the pandemic and training was on site but then it was 100% work from home. There was constant communication from the company about changes and it was a very easy process.

Decent

I worked tech support. Call center environment so under staffed and under paid. I did tech support there for 3 years , sat with a good group of people but the job wasnt top notch

Mobility Tech Support

Decent pay but dear God... seniority of hours is based on how long you've been with the company. Management needs some overhaul. Maybe new blood to operate as it appears to be a "if we like you we keep you" place.

Great people and managers had your back

I worked at Nordia and did enjoy it; however due to a medical condition, I could no longer continue. The work was stressful and kept getting worse, as new duties that we weren't trained for were added to our already existing ones. If we would have had proper training, then I believe more people would be happier.

Great management, positive workspace.

I've had less than positive experiences with call center work at other companies in the past, but this place is different. The training is challenging yet effective and management is supportive and consistent. The hours can be inconsistent over a few weeks, but are definitely negotiable. Performance incentives keep things interesting and there are lots of prizes to be won in a month. Morale is high here, so it's a pretty positive place to work in.

Management Failure

I was one of the first hires at Nordia when they opened in Peterborough. I met some amazing people there and made lasting friendships. But that didn't overshadow the lack of organization and expectations. You are expected to meet your stats. The only way to do that is to not actually help anyone but to "job" the system into grading you according to feedback, handletime etc... Great health care poor scheduling. Even if you have a court order you won't get shifts you need.

Good workplace for a first call center job

A typical day at work is to punch in on time, take calls for the rest of the 8hours shift. I have learned how to provide excellent customer service to clients all while meeting and outstanding performance requirements. I have also mainly learned how a call center works. Another lesson was to learn how to make sales. The management at Nordia was great at teaching their agents to give great customer service to clients and meeting their needs. My co-workers were pleasant to work with. Very hardworking people that were always respectful and professional. The hardest part of the job was to know that several departments of Bell Express Vu had moved to India and my department were in transition to work with India's new agents. The most enjoyable part of the job is that i got to learn a lot on what is great customer service and what techniques could be used to always offer the best customer service.

Amazing place to work!

Awesome place to work, management is great, pay is awesome, coworkers are great, amazing place to work! They have a gym, which is awesome, the parking really sucks tho! Its underground and really sketchy looking other than that, it's the best

For a call centre it is an okay work environment

Working with Nordia is okay for a call centre. High stress but excellent health benefits. The calls are the stressful you get a lot of customers complaining to you.

Bad Office Politics

The job in itself was actually enjoyable most of the time. Problem solving with a little free time between calls. The office politics is extremely unprofessional.

It was ok

The job was just not something I would personally like to continue, very stressful and the staffing was horrible. Call center jobs are definitely not for everyone!
