Honestly out of all the other call centers they are the most flexible. Competitive pay. However it is still a call center. You're still a number. Things still come down from the top. You still work for a major client. There is little room to grow in the company. If you need a pay cheque then it's okay.
Free lunches sometimes and a cafeteria.
Repetitive and mentally exhausting.

Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with us. We understand that working in the customer service industry can be challenging; however, we're saddened to read about your perception of Nordia. In the #NordiaPeterborough team, there is always room for employees to grow, and we do our best to provide them with the best work environment. Did you know that 87% of Nordia's employees would recommend us as an employer to their friends and family? However, we want you to know that we're taking note of your comment, and we'll strive to do better.
Well..let me start by saying a lot of the people that work as agents and TMs are awesome people but...there were a lot of changes that happened recently with upper management and there is new upper management that hasn’t even taken 5 minutes to write a formal email introducing them self, I would like to assume when someone takes over a whole new site that they would take the 5 minutes it takes to write an email introducing themselves and saying a little bit about there work history with the company etc..but we got nothing other than huge negative changes to policies that affect the agents greatly! We were told from a previous amazing upper management before that if we ever felt like a number to approach them and the moral was great back than all in all I would have recommended Nordia at that time! I think a lot of co-workers probably feel the same way but with little to no communication at all from the new upper management it’s tough to voice opinions and I have personally never felt like more of an employee number on a stats sheet more than I have these past 2 months! Wish the old upper management could come back! Nordia handled Covid ok by offering to work at home but now it’s really tough to stay motivated especially with the direction of this new upper management!
Decent Pay-Benefits-great TMs and Co-Workers
Upper management, low moral do to upper management

We want to assure you that employees are always welcome to share their feedback and express their feelings despite certain changes. Please know that we take your feedback at heart, and we'll share your concerns with the appropriate resources. You can also contact your Operation Manager or Director at any time.
The job is decent, and has good pay. The actual job is fun, the building is nice enough, and your coworkers are friendly Canadians. But you are being paid to ignore open abuse. Management, which is almost all female, is corrupt enough to be in trouble with the law. And that's a problem when multiple people have report abuse against women at this location, at least to me. In outbound, unless you are a workaholic with miles of tolerance generally the most offensive, ruthless and abusive people get praised while anybody who's not full of hate will be automatically moved away from everybody else and shamed for costing the boss her sales. That might be because outbound is both competitive and talkative and therefor reflective of the establishment's overall inability to prevent violence and promote cooperation. Management also will also withhold their responsibilities at critical moments while spinning stories to you to try to make sure you're homeless by the time you're fired for being honest about the environment. It's sad that they truly do not care about the welfare of their employees because we share a city with these people as well. This is the dream job of a repeated sexoffender... There have been jokes made on this topic for as long as office jobs have exist.

I've been working for this company since day 1 and we are a team of employees who make sure we get what is ours. Management is great to us. They pay us well. Customers are challenging but training is well done. If we are struggling and someone is getting paid higher bonus, we better get what is ours. If we have kids then you better believe we will do whatever it takes to feed our babies. Priorities are based on performances but those who need. Get over it. This is our place.
inequality of pay for those who have higher stats
I really enjoy the people I work with the commission is a great incentive. Benefits are fantastic . I have worked here for 16 years and made many great friends I hope to have for life.

I Have worked for Nordia for three years now ,Choosing to work for Nordia would be a great idea for anyone .They have very helpful management that are all friendly and eager to help you succeed and they have always been accommodating . Working in DMC (sales ) has great benefits to it from the upbeat atmosphere to the great bonus they offer on top of your regular very competitive pay you don't have to be the top sales agent to take home extra pay .I work consistent hours I never have to question what my schedule will be which helps make life much easier . This company has lots of room for moving up if you wish but doesn't pressure you to do so . I have never worked with such great co-workers and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I've been there since 2014 now. I'm comfortable. I like it. It has it's moments like any other job. HHLT is not for everyone but once you get into the groove......it's not bad at all and definitely has its perks. If you have sales experience it is helpful but they will teach you. They have a team spirit. Helpful with training. If your not sure feel free to ask questions
has it's moments

Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience! We are happy to hear that you appreciate our efforts to provide a rewarding and supportive work environment and the best compensation in the industry.
This job isn't for everyone, it is stressful, and the management definitely needs work. They don't work around your schedule if its needed ( child care, school, another job if working part time)
stressful, repetative, poor management
I love the hours from 12pm-830pm, every week Sunday off and every payday is a 3 day weekend. The environment feels very restricted and the bonuses are not based off of sales performance which is really discouraging because even though I achieved top sales quite often the people who get the highest quality calls, and very little sales, get more bonuses and this bothers me a lot. I find this very unfair toward people that actually try to sell and do there jobs. Overall the job is not that difficult but very unfair in many ways such as advancement and bonuses. The hours are great but that is it. I would like to do commission and be appreciated on how well I can sell.
Consistent schedual and great benefits
Poor bonus system, rare advancements and little appreciation
I was a retention agent for a almost nine months at the Moncton site. Here's a few key points to consider strongly before applying for Nordia. All day long you deal with frustrated Bell clients who are so angry they want to cancel their services and go elsewhere. And I don't blame them with so many billing errors, 3 to 4 annual price increases. Your role is to keep your calm and try to convince, a frustrated client who's been transfered from incompetant departments in the Phillipines. Not only the customer has been on the phone for ever before he reaches your department, and being transfered to a foreign country does not go well with Canadians. You basically have to manipulate the client and almost brainwash them with lies, calculations to loose the client and make him stay to get robbed even more. It's like selling ice to a Inuit in January. To top it off, you are being provided with a below standard network with passwords for each and every different tool you have, and they expire not all at the same time. You will get lost in all the different combinations you will use. You are monitored for stat based performance, and your coach, the one who does nothing but play on his I phone and avoid taking escalated supervisor calls will cash in your hard earned work. You have to scan your fingerprint has a punch in system and your schedule constantly changes on a daily basis. Back to back frustrating calls, that will soon haunt your dreams. I was let go for being home sick even before I had the chance to provide a medical note. And if my coach got a - plus...
Certainly not the management
