the environment at my location was very competitive not only within our center but constantly being compared to other sites so sometimes it was stressful however the people that worked there were like a family so we looked after each other

Not bad at the beginning, very stressful as you are in billing for bell. Customers yelling, solving issues, etc... Multiple different roles, tech support, billing, sales. Need to be computer savvy

This job took so much from me. I lost a baby and was told to "get yourself under control, you're making a scene on my call floor. You have 5 minutes to clean yourself up and get a grip before I want you back in your seat and taking calls" on my FIRST day back from that awful experience. This is a company that cares ONLY about how much money you are making them and they don't care what you have to do to make those numbers happen. Worst job I've ever had in my life! I'll never get those years back!

I really enjoy the people I work with the commission is a great incentive. Benefits are fantastic . I have worked here for 16 years and made many great friends I hope to have for life.

A typical day would include taking 20-25 calls. As a sales representative we would get a lot of billing misdirects, so meeting sales quota is stressful. Management is OK but commission is amazing. You are truly in charge of how much you can make and they have some cool incentives month to month

This is a inbound call center where you are required to login when you arrive and typically take around 25-30 calls per shift. This is a sales inbound call center but we receive about 5 calls per day that we can really sell on. Hardest part of the job is to meet your sales quotas and other metrics that are required. Very high stress job that not many people can tolerate. I have learned a lot about sales, call metrics and staying positive.

long hours no work/ life balance you are unable to book time off for doctors appointments or just a personal day off you must either call in sick or try to trade with a co worker which is hard to do when everyone has a life outside of work. Turn over rate is high as it is a call center job

The job is to answer customer inquiries mainly on the pricing of their services, eg why has the price increased. Explain and try to resolve the customers request. Then if they are missing a service eg. has internet and television, pitch home phone for a "triple" service to offer bundle discounts. If a new customer calls in, pitch all three home services. The most enjoyable part of the job is satisfying a customer, and being able to provide them with a solution to their concern. The hardest part of the job is angry customers when you cannot satisfy their concern. It is a very independent job, there is not much socializing with co-workers. If you struggle in your calls management is there to assist you in where you need improvement, but sometimes it is not in a timely manner.

its a great place to work nice environment the mangers care they are always coming up with things to make it fun to work there and i have learned how to sell products and how to control angray customers
