Good pay, customers are difficult

Norida itself as an employer is actually quite good, it's the work environment and the customer base that makes this work difficult. Benefits for employees after 6 months is great, something you don't get with other smaller jobs. The pay is really great compared to the minimum wage, and bonus can be earned based on how well you do, so your paycheck is somewhat up to you. That being said, I find something within me had to break to stay there beyond a year. I often have to turn off my personal feelings and just do what's best for the company and pretend. The people I work with though truly are my newfound family and I've made some great friends while working here. This has been a perk for working here, but the work is tricky and the customers are difficult. Scheduling is one of those things that I've managed to somehow get the regular schedule I want. It does fluctuate here and there but I usually have a steady schedule which is nice. I find if my schedule is a little different somewhere, usually majority schedules are a little different too. For some, it works, and it really turns into a career but it does not work for everyone and the company knows that, so it's easy for them to get new people in. The turn over is high but give it a try, it might be what you're looking for.

2021 Now

When I first started here, I was proud. I cried when I got the job, I was happy to start a new career. Always giving 110% at my jobs throughout my life. It is a good place to work..It's so hard getting up everyday being yelled at by customers that you truely do want to help, but being powerless. The stats on an employee affects your every minute of the day, I honestly wake up and fear it will be my last day of my job everyday. I dream about work, I cry on my days off. The stress I am under. I ask for help, I'm asked "What can I do to improve", I'm doing everything I can possibly do correct, and it's still not good enough. I've been in other call centers, and never had this.. never had the stress like this before in my life. I'm at a loss, and in these horrible times, one cannot be without a job.. it's not Nordia, it's all STATS. Keep your mental health in mind here. Even if you are strong, it's very hard.

Meh

I loved the people that I worked with, management was awesome. There’s always help from everybody around you! The job just wasn’t that great for pay, benefits, and the stress that comes along with it. I didn’t think it was worth it so I left. Hours also were not that great.

Challenging environment

Nordia is a challenging environment that helps people to grow. It has been an enjoyable organization for me since i joined the team in March 2021. However, it has not been so easy managing the large volume of Nordia customers. Nevertheless, Nordia is a wonderful place to work.
