The people doing the same job as you are awesome in most cases. Managment (Team leads are bullies and are constantly on power trips! Avoid this place !

Management prefers favouritism over work ethics

I worked with NGA for almost 2 years. No matter how great of a worker you are they will always choose their favourites over your performance and since they won't have any complains about your work they would try to find things unrelated to your work to put you down. An obnoxiously horrid place to work at. The pay is also extremely low compared to the work that you are doing.

High exceptions for such low amount of pay.

fast paced working environment with terrible management but great co-workers

-best part of the job is making employees lives easier

- hardest part is providing bad or unwelcome news to clients (benefit loss/pay decrease/forms denied)

- the work atmosphere is great, a nice friendly environment by employees of the same level (excludes managers and higher up employees)

- a typical day at NGA consists of pre-shift clerical work(emails/research), shift work (on the phone/dealing with callers inquiries)

- The management disregards the comfort of their employees for their own benefits. they often use their positions to intimidate employees they may not like.

Workplace culture is very positive and reassuring. Management will always help you and talk to you as a friend. Guaranteed full time hours is always a positive thing, and great health/life benefits as well as tuition reimbursement is a plus.

Great dental benefits. High turn over so job security is high. Business hours are monday to friday. No weekends and no night shifts. It's a call centre so you're on the phone all day and in queue.

Co-workers are very helpful and good facilities. The office environment is relaxing. The hardest part of the job is handling and making some of the retiree and pensioner happy with the answer. But everyone next to will try their best to help you.

- Learned how to work in an office environment.
- Learned how to communicate better through telephone.
- Benefits are great.
- Salary is good for someone with no post-secondary education.
- The hardest part of the job is talking on the phone.
- It is a very fast pace work environment.
- Bonus program is offered (very high requirements)

Great coworkers and poor pay. Most people working at NGA are very overworked. The pay is not comparable to the amount of work done. NGA takes care of payroll, pension and benefits for their clients employees. There are many offline teams as well that do audits and many other duties. It is a busy, fast paced environment that demands certain metrics be met which can sometimes be difficult.
