If you don't mind lying daily to parents worried about their children, being put down by co-workers and management and being ridiculed for things you never learned during training this is the job for you. Turn over rate is so high that no one knows what they're doing. Policy is laughable. Did you miss your bus today? 99% of the time you did not. The driver was early, later, or didn't even go on route.
Like others said the drivers are nice but the management is terrible . They expect the world of you for minimum wage and only get paid if you have passengers in the bus. Not enough to even pay bills. Good way to get a Free B Licence and then move on to driving a truck for better money. Maybe the administration should take a pay cut and pay drivers for what they are worth.
Free training to obtain a B license
Working with stock north was good until they switched managements. Working there for over a year i knew the ins and outs ans since December the company was going down. As a dispatcher your never given full information about whos working and whos not..so it becomes a scramble. The routers dont do their jobs and update the route copies so countless times students and drivers are unaware of changes or add ons. They prioritize charters and that causes school routes to become late. The staff doesnt ever answer phones. You'll like ebony shes a wonderful dispatcher and the trainers and drivers are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. But the buses are in terrible condition always a breakdown. So my advice is learn your channel and understand that you're your only ally there . Please be careful of the safety manager. And whatever you do as the new employee. Don't be fooled
School days off

The organization is in a state of change ergo the environment can be challenging at times. What makes the company successful is it's managers, coordinators, and the teams on the ground. I'm privileged to have worked with such wonderful people!
Uncompromising team work and spirit.
