As far as jobs go, it’s not terrible, especially if you’re young and don’t have a ton of experience. The pay is not equal to the amount of work you put it, but other benefits of the job are what kept me working there for so long. The hours are reasonable, the benefits are good, and the discount is good as well. The management really varies from store to store, so you might get lucky and have an awesome manager, but you can also easily end up with a monster for a manager.
Good hours, flexible, good benefits
Extremes in busy season and slow seasons, poor management, low pay
My first 4 years at Moores were amazing. Then the company culture changed and that why I'm leaving. The staff there is great. The upper management does not celebrate success.
goos staff and salary
poor upper managment

A typical day at work was helping customers, merchandising the store, cleaning and organizing, answering the phone. Management at Moore's Prince George is lacking skill and the correct leadership to run a team. There is a lot of politics within a corporation this big. I also noticed that Moore's Human Resources had no interest in supporting employees who were having issues within the store. There was an awful lot of backstabbing and gossip, especially from the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
Good benefits for full time employees.
Moores is a great place to work. The best thing about my work by far is the people. It's like a giant family, I'm probably closer to my co-workers then my own family. Pay is decent, benefits are great as well.
Not enough hours
