This is such a great company to work for. There is so much support all around, we all feel like a family here despite the large number of employees that we have. There is not a single day that goes by that we do not hear jokes and laughter, whether that is at the Head office or in one of our retail locations.

Most importantly the management team really cares about all the employees as individuals. Our Health and Happiness is a priority and so our work life balance is wonderful. They don't just care about us but our families as well.

I learn something new and exciting almost every day. If there is something that I need to be able to do my job better it is provided. New ideas are not just encouraged but greatly rewarded. Our commitment to being Green is top notch and everyone who works here believes in protecting our beautiful planet.

Long Standing Family Business with Great People

Great place to work. Leadership is effective but approachable, promoting a close knit work environment. The business is local and community focused and prioritizes eco/green initiatives. Retail locations around the island with a big head office / warehouse in Victoria. About 150 employees total.

The company continues to grow and is very receptive to ideas about how to make it better. Although I've only worked in one area of the business, management is encouraging and supportive.

Monk Office is a good company to work for. I feel I am at a place where I will no longer be able to grow with the company and branching out will continue my path.

Decent basic retail job

Another basic stand on your feet for 8 hours job. A good starting, the co-workers are fantastic, management both in store and higher up leaves much to be desired from what you would expect working for a small local business. The most enjoyable part of the job is by far working with such amazing co workers, and helping customers with bigger decisions, such as furniture or larger print jobs. You get a good basis of knowledge for both printing things such as business cards, booklets, flyers etc. and working around things like furniture and possibly the post office depending on location.

Great customers

I have been working here for almost 5 years and it has been a real learning experience for me, I have learned how to manage employees, deal with difficult situations, and work in a team. I enjoy my job but I am looking for something new and challenging. After working somewhere for 5 years the challenges seem to become less and less. I really enjoy working with my customers, I have known them for so long they are more like friends rather that customers.
