Lieu de travail agréable,compagnon très gentil et entraide joviale toujours bon d’arriBée le matin .la direction et contremaître honnête et direct.. bonne compagnie pour y travailler,et un bon matin ils ont décidé de fermer notre département.

It totally depends on your manager and team members. If your manager understands you and provide you space and freedom to do your work then it is a good place to work otherwise it can become toxic.

Working in retail is extremely demanding and stressful, both physically and emotionally. The demands from management to take on more and more work along with dealing with very demanding customers is a bad combination.

There is too much favouritism in upper management and to better your role you better be in good with someone. Perfect example they bumped a manager because someone at the same level needed a position - this person was a friend of the department head. - Very toxic culture under the current management group
- CEO is very fake and doesn't know how to run an operation

- Has a history of chaos everywhere he has been (China, US)

- He is Canadian but acts nothing like one of us!!

- Needs a real reality check on his management style (or lack of thereof)

- Is not very well liked by the dealers in our network

- Once you say one thing that he interprets as criticism, look out!

- Many people have been leaving the company since he was installed 3.5 years ago

- It seems that they seek out and actively promote all the wrong people time and time again

- The Finance department needs some srious help too

- The new CFO is not a very sociable person and has trouble with his communications skills

- Many unhappy people in this department and are looking for work elsewhere

- Marketing is a black hole

- HR needs some serious restructuring

- Customer Services needs a new leader because, although some one does have this job it's as if he doesn't exist

- Many changes have taken place over the past few years and the vast majority (99%) have been very bad for morale

- Upper management lack the ability to listen to the employees or just simply choose to ignore them altogether

- This used to be a great place to come to work but no longer

- People just come in, do their jobs and go home

- It is a real shame how low this company has suck in such a short period of time

WOW, they just keep taking them away one by one. Fresh fruit in the cafeteria; gone, VEP Program significantly modified to make in unattractive for the average employee, annual Christmas party, they got rid of this two years ago

- Low morale, lack of intergrity at the executive level, poor management decisions, no connection between upper management and the employees

They portray themselves as a wonderful company to work for when in reality they continuously cut your commissions and foster a competitive and aggressive work environment. Management preaches a collaborative team and rewards bad behaviour calling it “assertive”. They also use client survey scores to reduce pay and raise sales quotas to unattainable numbers to not offer benefits such as demos when the market is going down,not up.

They are a great company with hands down the best benefits and incentives I've seen offered by any work place.

The biggest fault is people and overall culture is low.

Service advisors were rude, dismissive and at times sarcastic to new staff. Management turned a blind eye to verbally abusive clients, favouring profit over respectful treatment of employees. There was a general feeling of nepotism in that a promotion would never be an opportunity unless you were related to, or friends with upper management. A small number of employees were friendly, but overall, not a pleasant experience.

The work environment is very friendly and professional. In the co-op I did everyday bookkeeping tasks, and helped assist others on there day to day tasks.

My first foray into accounting started in this organization some 10+ years ago. From what i remeber it was a fun and relaxed place to work, with excellent perks for cars. Hope this hasnt changed

Reasonable hours and good benefits.
The product is cutting edge.

The customers range from 20 somethings looking for their first car to octogenarians who haven't driven anything buy Mercedes in the last 40 years.

The compensation gets tweaked every year with the view to reduce what a salesperson can earn

Extremely prejudice company, they give you promotions according to the skin color, they do hire ppl of color just to show that they are fair employers but when you work for the company you get to know that you are indeed just a show for the outside world, and then you are never given any good opportunity or promotions and they promote employees who have just joined 3 months ago with no skills, over you just because of your skin color, this was the first time in my 20 years of work life that I have had this experience with such a big company and that to in Canada.

I was excited when I got selected to participate in this Make Your Mark Internship program at Mercedes-Benz Canada Head Office but the excitement vanished after a couple of months working here. Nothing new was happening. Work duties and responsibilities became repetitive and they expect you to do the same routine everyday for 6 months to 1 year. I also realized that the company is very traditional with no advancement in technology whatsoever. A lot of employees still needed to print files and waste papers. Everyone at Head Office does their own thing. There is little to no socialization at all as it is the most quiet work environment ever. You can imagine a traditional work space with standard sized cubicles next to each other. No collaborative work space at all. This work place does not attract millennials or newer generations to work for them. Employees aren't happy which explains why they did not receive the award "Great Place to Work" in 2018. They constantly promote internal employee growth but there is barely any! A lot of interns left after a couple months of interning here as they could no longer stand the management or the work they were assigned to do. I would recommend recent graduates to work here to put the employer name on your resume but trust me, there is no employee growth here at all.

All the colleagues were fantastic and helpful. The management is very hands-on with engaging reviews of performance, and with a strong focus on training.

Once a upon a time it was the best dealer in the city.It was sold to a company who could not care less about there staff.The place has a union for the sales staff..Yes the sales staff!! Unheard of.The management is lacking in experience and for the most part are completely incompetent..The service is run buy a kid who is more worried about having his car cleaned then if clients are happy.All Staff with quality quit and went to the competition.Its very sad to see this every day.

very organize company and good benefit for employee my managers were relay understanding people and good sense of hummer..the most part was working work customer face to face and my hobby is driving car and it was pleaser for me too.
