Material Handler/Forklift Operator (Ancien employé) – Trenton, ON – 10 octobre 2019
Working close to 5 years; right out of highschool to the point where I decided what career path I wanted to pursue. I feel as though I can give a sound opinion opinion on McKesson Canada, more so McKesson Canada's Trenton DC.
It is a job and simply that. It isn't a career and I believe it will never be a career if you work in the warehouse/distribution aspect of the business. As much as I'd like to go on about how wonderful it was/is to work for this company, I can't. From supervisors being hired straight from the floor with no experience in the Feild, work hours worse than continental shifts, and no room for advancement. It's hard to believe that I subjugated myself to this many years of torture. Nobody in the Trenton DC aside from those on dayshift are happy with how the place is run or who is in charge. It's best described as highschool for those who are contempt with a bottom of the barrel work experience where you don't have a life outside of work.

Management are dreadful and don't care about their workers, i was rushed through my course because they needed me to have it so they could leave me alone on a Saturday because no other dispenser would work a Saturday. No phones in dispensary unless you were management, fair enough i guess, but think being on Tinder most the day crosses the line, this was supposed to be my manager! I certainly wouldn't recommend working at the store i did, you had to be in 'The click' or you didn't fit in!

Fine company to work for but the work itself isn't for everyone. Very repetitive and can be mind-numbing at times. The choice of shift for me can sometimes be a problem because it doesn't leave much time for a personal life.
