Fine company to work for but the work itself isn't for everyone. Very repetitive and can be mind-numbing at times. The choice of shift for me can sometimes be a problem because it doesn't leave much time for a personal life.
I have had a great experience working for McKesson Canada over the last few years and would highly recommend it to others seeking a job there. The people are very social and they make you feel very welcome.
Everyone was very friendly and willing to help you if you needed it. You learn different areas and are willing to train for the fork lift. Everyday there is different music to allow everyone to hear what they like. they also have a gym there if you need to fit a workout in

Working close to 5 years; right out of highschool to the point where I decided what career path I wanted to pursue. I feel as though I can give a sound opinion opinion on McKesson Canada, more so McKesson Canada's Trenton DC. It is a job and simply that. It isn't a career and I believe it will never be a career if you work in the warehouse/distribution aspect of the business. As much as I'd like to go on about how wonderful it was/is to work for this company, I can't. From supervisors being hired straight from the floor with no experience in the Feild, work hours worse than continental shifts, and no room for advancement. It's hard to believe that I subjugated myself to this many years of torture. Nobody in the Trenton DC aside from those on dayshift are happy with how the place is run or who is in charge. It's best described as highschool for those who are contempt with a bottom of the barrel work experience where you don't have a life outside of work.
Some nice people. Fast paced. Constantly reminded of your pace and efficiency rating. Not much training. Have to figure things out for yourself or ask other employees for help. sometimes get different answers from different supervisors.
People are all nice, easy work, lots of breaks, day goes by quick, work is easy money is good do a lot of special activities like Christmas auctions and so on. Great place to get hired into with benefits pays good and a wonderful community at McKesson
Friendly work environment. Great company to work for, they put on many company events for staff and family members. Shift hours however are not family friendly.
shifts are not family friendly
Overall great place to work, good benefits if full time, Treated poorly if only temp. Great co workers , supervisors weren’t the greatest though. But overall great place.
Lots of overtime (not mandatory)
While working at McKesson I learned how to adapt to a fast paced physically demanding environment while making new friends with the very welcoming and friendly staff. The workplace was always fun and well kept. Although I only spent a short time there due to unforeseen events I would definitely love to be a part of the workplace again. Great place and people to work for.
although its new to you there is lots of security and safety but you get use to it over time. it was a great environment to work in because they bring you in to the family.
friendly environment to work in.
