The working hours are not fixed since I worked as a reserach intern in a lab. So, generally The working hours would be from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M and more if required depending upon the experiment on that particular day.
You would have to have been a student or someone with a very organized thought process.
There is no restriction to wear any specific articles of clothing. But I am comfortable in casual and formal clothes. I mostly wear simple Jeans, pullover, trousers, and Shirts.
In any medical facilities the stress can be more times overwhelming but that comes with job.

PhD students have a certain degree of flexibility and independence to work on their own in the lab. Depending on the lab culture and the type of projects, there could be 100% independence with the projects as well as collaborations with other lab members.
In your interview: be honest and makesure that the lab has funding and you have a secured scholarship during your entire study period ( MSc or PhD)
