Hours are perfect for having a balanced life. It is hard to keep your targets for calls per hour. There is opportunity for overtime and it is only if you volunteer. It was hard when you would hear stories about people not being able to see a doctor or were not informed that they would be charged.
Great place to work and to get experience as a BSA. Management does a good job of assisting you to get a well rounded experience. Work culture and environment can be improved.

Excellent atmosphere. A little bit of Government and Ministry attitude, but overall a phenomenal place to work - coming from the outside I see some areas of opportunity which I will try to influence some positive change in the months to come.
Productive and fun workplace. Family and friendly environment. Everyone accountable and team work environment. Overstaffing with no foresight of the accommodation for the employees
Don't think or ask questions. Do your job like robot. A lot of favortisim and if your favorite you can do no wrong however if your on the other end you life will be miserable. Too bad could be really great company. President is fully aware of the goings on and does nothing.
Wages and benefits good for Victoria BC
sitting all day, micro management and never same answer twice.
Large company in downtown Victoria with limited movement in my area of work, but has a great social network. Employees are fabulous, and for the most part (large company, remember!?) work well together. Excluded staff not allowed flex days, which is one of the harder things to accept, as the unionized staff have the flex day schedule provided, should they wish it. Great benefits once qualified, good starting wages. Supervisors and Management handle their Teams well.
Great downtown location, and good starting wages
No flex time for excluded staff
A typical day at work you are learning more ways to do your job effiently, there are always new ways to gain experience and to apply it to any future job you have in mind. I learned how to process document, do incoming and outgoing mail, and trained thoroughly in the call centre department. it's a small company and everyone is very easy ot get along with. The most enjoyable part of the job is being on the social commitee hardest part of the job is communicating your desires
social committee lunches
distance. located in markham
I would get into work at 9am .Be prepared to work on the application as well take both English and French inquires for the clients. That is how my day starts. I learn to work with various softwares that the ministry used. The hardest part of my job is when I am pushing to do more that I could do and the manager don't understand. I also have fun with my coworkers at lunch time.
sometime free pizza
too much micro managment
