Treat you like family

Great company to work for management is very respectful always making sure that your needs are met. Also it’s room for open availability. Overall it’s a good company to work for.

Worth $16/hr can't complain, I've done factory work for that.

As long as you have good stress management, communication skills, and a consistent work ethic you'll be fine. Most people expect too much from supervisors, but if you can problem solve on your own advancement is possible. Earn it.

Great pay and room for advancement

The job itself can be stressful at times but it is what most sign up for when working a govt/state contract. The pay is good, they have approved all my time off request and I advanced in position quickly. Overall I am very happy with where I am at.

Supportive and friendly culture

Lovely place to work. On an 18 month WFH contract and have a wonderful supportive management team with a culture of helping not only the customer but each other. Management style is transparent and empowering, with a focus on learning and self development to be the best you can be.

Great place to work depending on position

I enjoyed working here. My management team was honestly one of the worst I have worked for but the company itself is great. Some people do believe they can make up and enforce their own policies that are directly counter to company policy. Honestly I would still have a job there today had I not been sabotaged by my supervisor.

CSR Maximus

Would not recommend the CSR contract position. The company is very unprofessional. They change operations from day to day without giving employees warning . Hours where cut during training from 40 to 32 due to the company hiring too many CSR's. Do not work for this employer if you are seeking a stable environment. We did not have access to the system to practice until the day before production.

Micromanaged, Unorganized

Company steadily adds to your workload. Sometimes the goals are unrealistic. Increased tasks but no pay increases. Not very organized. I enjoyed the company at first but after awhile I quickly changed my mind.

Don't get comfortable

Job was easy, but you have zero job security. You'll be promised things and they will never follow through. They will act like you are making such a difference, and you will get an email stating they are ending the project, and that will be it. I was never late and always did well on evaluations, but they don't care. With having such high turnover rates,you'd THINK Maximus would want to keep good agents, but they would rather toss you aside like garbage. Does not matter how well you do your job, you will be let go and they will get new agents. At the end you won't be offered another position, they would rather hire new agents instead. If you want to be tossed aside like trash, this job is for you. Do not let this job stress you out, because at the end of the day, you are just another number. Go into it thinking this is just another bad call center job, because sadly that is what it is. Doesn't matter if you make perfect evaluation scores because they let everyone go, and just get new agents to replace you. If you want some quick cash for a couple of months, apply, if not, do yourself a favor and look for something else.

Micro manage

They target you if you don’t fit their norm. Never give you credit, micro manage, directors get more money and hold your career in their hands. If you don’t want to do everything they want you to do as they overload then not train properly then blame you then fire you. Not a good company

Not worth the stress

The amount of $ they pay you, you could be working at McDonald’s making the same amount, except here the stress is 15X worst. Its not enough training time and the management is so rude. Not worth it, at all.

Good place so far

Overall a good place to work for. This is contract work so if you’re looking for something permanent it may not be for you. Good experience and so far a good team I would recommend this place if you’re OK with a contract position. Must be able to navigate through different systems like a CRM and in AWS.

Management clearly plays favorites when applying for other positions in the FBPB unit

Micromanaged, upper management does not care about you or your family if you need to leave early they will take earned points for missing work. Lots of favoritism, if you are friends with upper management you will get the job that you internally applied for.

Fantastic company

This is a fantastic company to work for I have been with them for almost a year with an agency and I am currently trying to get hired on permanently. My shift is Monday through Friday 8-1630 I am a QA and I have worked now 2 different projects with this company. I love this company. And I could not ask for a better job. I got laid off at the beginning of Covid 19 and found this job shortly after and love it!

I have been give an opportunity to grow.

I get to train and develop leaders. I have an opportunity to change how we deliver customer service. Excellent paycheck. Manager is supportive. Meet people.

Dont work here

Horrible management. HR is a hot mess. Managers dont communicate. Training a hot mess. Horrible work culture. Manager are all two faced. Worst company I have ever worked for.

Opportunity

There is a great opportunity at this company to provide needed information to Medicaid recipients but there is little opportunity to actually help solve caller's problems. I also learned a lot about the Medicaid and healthcare systems good and bad.Some of management are decent. My last supervisor was very easy to work with and supportive. Most co-workers are pleasant to work with. You will excel best if you only care about getting to the next call. Despite efforts to improve the culture it still is true that favoritism plays a big part in promotions and considerations.I don't agree with my taxes going to a stock traded company from another state when my taxes could go to State of Michigan employees or the Medicaid system. If Maximus can make a profit off the Medicaid system why can't the state run a helpline itself and have more money for citizens who are in need?

Typical call center

You are not treated like a human. You can exceed expectations and still be targeted by management. The company complicates the smallest things. The work is not hard the company needs to train management on how to be better leaders. If there is a issue the first thought should not be termination for every problem.

Eh

It’s a good job if you’re fresh out of high school and trying to develop work ethic. There’s a lot of favoritism. It’s easy to get promoted if you’ve worked extremely hard or you’re favorited.
