I enjoyed my time at Marwood International, they treated me well personally and they are the definition of continuous improvement. I had faith in the Plant Manager’s vision for Plant 5. There are a often high stress moments when dealing with breakdowns and various machine issues, but nothing you wouldn’t see anywhere else. Preventative maintenance could sometimes fall behind as we were so busy that we were hardly able to get access to equipment. Be ready to do work outside your job description as maintenance will be tasked with various production roles and utility tasks. This is a team player company and teamwork is rewarded here. Lots of overtime available for maintenance staff. I would definitely work here again in Plant 5.
Good wages, Innovative company, Benefits are great and they have nice perks like Costco and CAA memberships, Plant Manager has a clear vision for success.
Can be quite a wait for project materials.
Awesome benefits and employee incentives. Great atmosphere and friendly co-workers. Marwood cares for their employees. When the pandemic hit they made sure their employees were taken care of. I go to work everyday with a smile on my face and I leave with a smile. I love working for Marwood!
I have been at Marwood for almost 2 years, and it is a great place to work. Marwood is incredibly innovative, with tremendous growth occurring year after year. They are constantly adding more and more roles to the organization to support this growth and set the company up for success. Of course there is every day stress and pressure that occurs within any automotive manufacturer; however, the management teams are always there to support whatever is needed. I would highly suggest Marwood to potential job seekers!
I enjoyed my time at Marwood. The people are nice and respectful towards each other. Management makes fair and consistent decisions to improve the company. Marwood is always busy and strive for new business as much as possible. I like that Marwood pursues the latest and greatest technology to keep up with the automotive trends. Marwood treats the employees very well from my experience and they have a great benefit package with many perks. My supervisors treated me with respect and always answered any questions I had. There is definitely a lot of room for growth when working at Marwood. It was a very positive environment and experience I had at Marwood. I would highly recommend anyone to apply to Marwood.

The company looks after the needs and welfare of the employees especially during this pandemic period. This is the place where a young worker can start to learn the trade, gain enough experience and master a career. The opportunity to further a career is being encouraged. Company fringe benefits are highly competitive.
I have worked here for 21 years and it is a great place to work. There is a lot of Opportunity to grow. I started on the floor and now I'm a production manager. Like a lot of companies there are challenges that you will come across and I find that Marwood has a lot of team and management support. It is a very strong company and I enjoy working here!
I work Monday to Thursday 10hrs a day, which allows me to have a 3 day weekend with my family. We have the opportunity for some Overtime. I get to work with a lot of different teams within Marwood from Production to Engineers and Quality Reps. I am part of an amazing team as we help ship important items and parts all over the world. I feel that Management takes notice when we go out of our way to help where the help is needed. My team is a lot of fun and we work hard to get all the required shipment sent out on time. My team is always will to help myself or others learn. The best part of what I get to do within Marwood is always learning something new and have new challenges to help me grow.
I enjoy working with Marwood. It is a great company with great potential to exceed personal goals. I found the management and employees knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. I definitely recommend it to any hard working professional.

There's a really good team in a plant and all help each other. The job is difficult but i happy to be an electrician at Marwood because there're a lot of oportunities for development yourself as professional.I'd reccomend the employer if you want to face with some interesting experience and work with knowledgeable trades.
Marwood is very unappreciative of the work that you do for them. They just expect more and more and give nothing in return. The work favouritism is brutally damaging on your soul, so if you plan on keeping your identity, get out while you can or don't even go there. You are required to work OT. They don't care how much it affects you. They have no consideration for their employees. No one follows any policies and their are no consequences, they just make them up as they go along. There is much favouritism. Management has no clue as to what they are doing. They don't really care about the employees. Worst trade job I have ever had.
Marwood led to my ability to reverse interview employers during interviews
Accepting the Marwood offer in the first place
I would have never taken the job if I knew what I went through and I regret working at Maywood won’t recommend anyone to work in Marwood as they try to put you as low as possible so you can’t move anywhere else. Very horrible place to work!!! A lot of favouritism, Unfair treatment, Unfair decision, Unfair pay and they don’t care about Temporary employees. Management does nothing if you have a problem. By mistake if you want to get hired on as Marwood employee than forget about it, it will take years and years to hired on, you will keep bugging them but never receive any communication from them. The plant Manager does nothing except firing people. Firing people is in trend at this place. Management should get trained to solve these matters. You can’t talk to anyone; you can’t have a proper lunch and break time. You have to get out of the cafeteria 3 min. before of your actually lunch timings.
I dint see any pros
Untrained persons allowed to do Quality Control, Favouritism, Racism, poor management, repetitive boring tasks, no chance of growth
Marwood is very unappreciative of the work that you do for them. They just expect more and more and give nothing in return. The job is brutally damaging on your body so if you plan on living past 60 get out while you can or don't even go their. You are required to work 48 hrs plus per week, up to 70 hrs if you volunteer and they don't care how much it affects you. They have no consideration for their employees. No one follows any policies and their are no consequesnces, they just make them up as they go along. There is much favouritism. Management has no clue as to what they are doing. Masks are not even required through COVID-19 which shows that they don't really care about the employees. One of the worst jobs I have ever had.
Good pension if you can ever get hired and last through the pain.
Management and no organization.
It's pretty fast paced work and the people there are great. Management in every form was very willing to help with any problems and led by example which was a very motivating thing to see. I enjoyed my time at Marwood in Woodstock and would recommend it to anyone
Worked for Marwood plant 5 in Woodstock for just over a year as a team leader. The pay is fair and benefits are okay. Aside from that there is nothing good I can say about this specific plant. During my interview they said there was no mandatory overtime, lied and I had to work every Saturday for the first 10 months. Post covid they switched to 4 ten hour shifts and still make you work 8 hours OT on the Friday and try to guilt you into Saturday. Revolving door for manpower. The good people leave because Marwood demands you to do the work of two or 3 people and give up your weekends. They can’t keep people so they hire in scab workers with no covid precautions being enforced. I’ve counted 40 people in the small lunch room at a time that Is supposed to only have 18. When you apply and are awarded a different position you’ll have to wait at least 8 months before they move you to the new position. When you need HR assistance you have to call Tillsonburg because the Woodstock plant doesn’t have an HR person. But when you call no one answers the phone or returns calls.I suggest you don’t waste your time at the Woodstock plant, I can’t speak for Tillsonburg factories but I heard they are a lot better to work at.
Some good people
Had many ups and downs with this company for the year and a half I worked here. The pay is very fair for the difficulty of the work but that's one of the few reasons they are able to keep anyone. For the short time I was there I couldn't believe how many workers they plowed through. Managements interaction with production is very minimal, making many people feel underappreciated
Pay, good coworkers
Management, lacking organization/direction
You are expected to work your tail off to hit un realistic goals. There is no work/life balance. Near impossible to get benefits. You guys have 4 temp agencies and have people bugging to be employed full time but you wont? Makes no sense to me. Your workers are treated like dirt when they kill themselves everyday for you. Very sad. Treat people well and they'll stay.
Very few. A half decent starting wage if you aren't a temp
No benefits, No ergonomics, Over worked and not appreciated, Poor team leaders
The problem with this place is that HR and management are clueless, The same positions are advertised every couple of months because NO one with any experience and education will stay long. OK place to work if you have no skills and want to stand in front of a press all day. Plan to retire at 55 because your health will be gone by the time your 45 if you work here
