Good benefits but no life, specially during the summer time
Concierge Lounge Attendant (Employé actuel) – Vancouver, BC – 5 septembre 2019
Good pay and benefits, but no quality of life, especially during the summer - no weekends.
You don't have guarantee of your hours, if the occupancy is low, you can have less hours (this happens all the winters).
It's a good job for young people and people who have a lot of energy. It requires long hours of standing, carrying weight, sometime the body can take no more. It's not a lifelong job. You have chances for internal growth (not too many), but you have to be very friendly with everyone and avoid problems.
