Fun workplace, great management
I love working here. The manager is so understanding and helpful. Whenever I have a tough day, he makes sure to adjust my tasks given to me that day. The staff i work with are all so friendly and helpful. The best part time job i could ask for.

Can be better
I enjoy working at Mark’s. Easy work load in summer but hectic is winter with too many product coming to the store. Too many audits, too many employees leaving! No benefits for part-time employees. Staff is very friendly.

10/10 Would recommend working here to a friend
This is the best job I ever had. Low stress, Management was SUPER supportive. When things get slow it can sometimes be hard to find things to do; However, once you get better acquainted with the store you can always find something. I worked there three years and climbed 3 rungs up the management ladder. I would have loved to work here for years to come had I not moved across the province.

Good place to work
The work culture is pretty decent at Mark's compared to other jobs. I loved my day-to-day stocking shelves and running the cash. I wish I could have been given more hours but was also grateful to keep my position thru the last lockdown. Managers aren't held to the same standard as CSR's which is disappointing but I really liked my job.

The worst place I have ever worked.. and that’s saying a lot
Honestly this should be your last option as a job. If you’re in dire need for money, have at it.. but if you have the choice .. run far away 😂 this place is the worst company I have ever worked for. The management in the north Oshawa location bully’s and harasses their employees and allows other full time staff to degrade and put down other staff. If you’re not in the building they will ask other team members to give them personal details of your life without your knowledge. Even if you’re in the building they’ll ask other team members to give them information on your personal life .. kinda creepy if you ask me, but I guess that’s what you get when you’re 40+ years old stuck in the same retail job you started working 15 years ago and have absolutely nothing better to do with your life. Anyways.. take it from me, stay away from this company 😂
