Arriving to work at Mark's work wear house was always a pleasure, friendly staff and management created a safe working environment. Here I would interact and aid costumers gaining customer service experience. The many tasks provided to me, helped positively shape my time management skills as well. Working for this company helped me grow tremendously as a person even in the short time I've worked there.
friendly staff, excellent working environment
Great retail experience; the staff make it a great place to work and the job is diverse so there's no risk of ever getting bored. One day you could be working cash, the next on boot deck, and the next day putting stock out. Supervisors trust you to reset displays and put out new product with minimal supervision, but are always there for questions. Hours during the winter after christmas season are low but that's normal for retail because sales are lower. Incredible discount and a fun place to work.
Discount, variety in tasks, food on events
lower hours in off season

I've been working with marks for 2 years now, the workplace has changed management since i started and with the new management the workplace has gone into a very steady non stressful environment. Its very organized and very communicative between employees and management, whether talking about hours or on the job tasking. With the job i have learned Cashier, Merchandising, Shipping and Receiving, and also many things about Work Wear and safety clothes i didn't know before the job. Hardest part about the job would be the ups and downs of hours between a large staff and not many hours. Many people came to the job wanting full time or full part time hours. Most enjoyable is that everyone is very family like in the workplace, we all accept each other and get along really well and it makes the job a lot less stressful when you can have a moment to laugh.
Fun first job learning experience
Hours aren't steady

everyday there was something new to work on with new challenges. my Coworkers were very nice and made me feel welcomed. the hardest part was remembering everyone's names. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting a lot of very nice people that I will keep in contact with for a long time.
free food in break room
We worked as a team to receive merchandise and get it ready for the floor . We also had to keep the stock room in order over the busy holiday season. It was a fun environment to work in and everyone got along.I also helped to put merchandise on the floor and assist customers while i was on the floor.
was only temporary.
Working at Mark's ensured that everyday is different, no such thing as a typical day. A smaller size store requires its employees to be diverse and ready to dive into any role at anytime. One learns to be the sales associate that attracts the customers attention to a cashier that ends the sales. You learn to be a multitasker because having 3-4 people working one shift means everyone is doing several jobs at one time but also ensuring that each job is done properly. The hardest part of the job was to quit because I enjoyed working there. The most enjoyable part of the job was the co-workers and all the of the friends I made.
