I don't really like working here because i felt bored standing same place just arranging clothes and no customer . moreover manager was rude .she put wrong shifts of mine then when i asked her to change that i have a school then she talks rudely and they don't gave me proper hours just asked me to come for one day. That was also a seasonal job
-workers are promised many hours but receive barely any -staff is very friendly -received very little trainer was expected to learn everything on my own
lack of hours and poor training
A typical day at work is assisting customers with finding products or looking up information about products e.g. shoes, clothes, etc. also cleaning the store of dust and debris. I learned from Mark's Work Wearhouse is that you need to be friendly with customers but have a professional attitude about the job itself whether it's the schedule, hours, employees, management, because at the end of it all I'm getting paid to be a professional friendly employee not complaining or having issues about the job itself. Management was harsh but fair when an issue occured because they would hear your side then come to a fair decision of solving the issue. My co-workers are good people when it comes to their job and know that a manager is there to help them when a problem arises instead of the co-workers trying to defuse the problem themselves. The hardest part of the job is having rude irate customers to please when an employee had made a mistake. The most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with customers on a daily basis to make their day better by giving them proper service.

Mark's has always maintained high standards of a unique retail experience. A typical day at work entails a providing a conducive atmosphere to generate sales by ensuring the customer's needs are met. I have learned that Brampton is a very diverse community and that each customer is unique but most still be wowed with excellent customer service. Mark's hand select the best managers in the retail business. We are who we are because of the impeccable training we have received. My co-workers are absolutely delightful to work with. They are very professional and goal driven. The hardest part of the job is trying not to be a workaholic. This is very difficult for a non-wayward individual. The most enjoyable part of the job is surviving a very busy day and seeing the smiles the customers shoot back on us.
