Avis d'employé sur Mark's
Good first job
The coworkers I met at Mark’s were great and I’ve made lasting friends there. The culture of the establishment is somewhat lacking in the sense that they may have lost touch with the care for their workers.

In Short Terms: Poor upper management. Lack of support. Crowded spaces. Understaffed. Limited hours. Constant negativity. Useless HR Department. The company did nothing to help any of our problems and it became the most toxic work place I have ever worked at. I could never recommend working for this company. I truly hate saying that but I don't want others to have to hurt the way I did for a company that just didn't care about any of us.
Points positifs
Some good people try their best to make it work
Points négatifs
Negative Atmosphere, lack of support, no benefits to actually work hard. This place could care less about what good you do for them.
The store is a franchise and the owner is a bully to his employees, he tells at them in front of other staff and customers. On 2 occasions he would go for lunch and come back drunk.
Points positifs
N/a
Points négatifs
Low moral
Like any retail job, you’re dealing with high pressure/demand from customers and management. It is a good first experience to get you prepared for working life, teaches you discipline, etc. Keynote - this place is a stepping stone for some people, and for others this place is their HOME and they are protective . Those ratty bum kissers are always lurking around tryna get that 75 cent raise by snitching and it usually worked ! So if that’s your thing I spilled the beans! Anyways I worked in 2 different locations and can say typically the associates were good people just trying to do their work but management always had their issues and were far from perfect like they try to tell you in the interviews. From miscommunication to drama, pettiness and false accusations but above all no respect for you as a person. Some of them even enjoy spreading your personal business to your coworkers or to other stores. Grateful for some of the people I met along the way but beware for management that DO NOT have your back and look to humiliate you!!!
