Shop is run by people with no skills on how to develop people and skills and therefore uses an agengy to recruit disposable staff. Preexisting staff has had their wages frozen for 10 years and mostly have minimal dedication and commitment!
Overall it’s a good working environment and everyone is very friendly. The management also let you know how their customers feel about the product they receive and if their are any bad product we make sure to correct the mistake. Once we correct our mistakes we also make sure the customers are happy with the replacements.

I waited more than 3 months to be hired at this company so that my pay goes up. I was working night shifts and was getting paid $15 an hour. It was ok from start as you get to learn a lot in the assembly line and how it runs. But after 3 months I asked supervisor to hire me, nothing helped out. I moved out and got into other company getting paid 19 an hour. A company should never do this to an employee being sincere and getting the work done by putting all his efforts.
Plenty of opportunities for overtime. Thorough training in multiple departments. Access to all levels of management for guidance and training. Can be physically taxing.
Have nothing good to say about this company they should just pack up and move to Mexico it would make Canada a better place, old school slave driving master who is so last in been old and angry dead end job young people should not even try to get experienced here waste
There's a lot the management could do to make the work easier on the laborers and welders. that would be inexpensensive for the company. Also, the breaks could be a little bit longer than 10 mins. by the time 5 mins has passed you already have to start walking about because the "smoking ares" are so far away.
Welding fabrication shop, work at own pace while meeting company deadline in a timely manner. Weekly pay, benifits, room for advancement. Overall management is good, people are friendly, great place to work. Working with steel so be prepared to work hard. Would highly recommend
Weekly pay, great atmosphere
Layoffs can occur
The general manager is a tyrant who demands more and more from the people. HR is clueless about how to treat people and is extremely bigoted on hiring practices. Very poorly run and has a horrible unsafe environment to work in. Management is very unwilling to help the support staff to improve the environment. Very cliquish management. Little to no training or help provided. Absolutely avoid this company at all costs. It is an absolute sweat shop. The absolute worst place I have ever worked.
Long hours, departments didn't communicate. Strived to keep truckers on time schedule which management didn't understand. Enjoyed the variety of my job. It was a machine shop with many specialized shipping needs.
Good pay, wonderful people
Management abused the people. Work conditions were poor
I am very sorry to say that all my days in this company has been miserable. I had a team leader, who would put me under too much unnecessary pressure the whole day. The whole day he would criticize my working, I felt i am a slave here not a worker. Would tell me to clean the racks and then watch me from my behind and come just to bother me would tell me that so and so section of the rack is less clean. These racks were used for parts and tool that were not used in months. Other example was that he would tell me to load a part in the CNC machine and then start sweeping the floor and look at the screen as soon as the machine stops I stop sweeping and unload the part and load anther part and again start sweeping. The making of the part would hardly take a few minutes to complete. There were jobs that I could do but he would do those jobs himself and tell to sweep an area that has already been swept. Quality of job was not good only it would insist on time. Every section supervisor would pass the part to another supervisor as soon as possible and would not car for its quality. Therefor time was more important than quality
It is a big company
Supervisors or team leader were not reviewed
This place has the potential to be a great company, if they can make it out of the 80's manufacturing mindset. The hours are long and the pay could be improved, but it is a stable job.
insurance, stable place of employment
long hours, Pay, mindset
