Slow down. You are nothing without you're staff. Focus on running great stores today rather than 5 years from today. Tell management to grow up, teach them some EI, and some relationship building skills with their staff.
I would practice what I preached. Give the staff more access to upper management. Have a proper Director of Operations who does act like a evil child when disagreed with.
